A2 I take deep breaths and walk away from the situation if I mind myself getting as worked up as the stubborn person.

A3 Choosing my words and waiting works great to my tween as well as my kinders who are having rough days.

A4 Letting them breathe, removing either them or my class if needed. I focus on getting "them" back and then focus on the teaching or task at hand.

A5 Step by step, whether those are small or big steps.

A1: My youngest child is extrememly stubborn. I have learned to be more patient with him and wait it out. When I get upset with him it typically gets worse. Patients is key!!
