A1: Definitely stress! It was a huge adjustment to start university so I was always stressed about whether or not I was doing enough! I also felt like i had no time to do anything! #whatisschool
A1: Omg I basically shut down this year. I stopped going to the gym, which ruined my emotional health, and once I ruined my emotional health I couldn't find the strength to go to the gym. But I must have walked 1000+ miles around Manhattan at night so 🤷🏻♀️#whatisschool

A1: My crazy commute! It takes me 1.5 hours each way, as long as there are no major accidents. Then... it could take many hours each way. #WhatIsSchool

WOW! Many years ago I use to drive an hour each way with a newborn baby. When I reflect back on this ,... I wonder how in the world I did it day after day - year after year. Ever feel that way? #Whatisschool

In August I'll leave at 5:00 to take a bus, train, and another bus to get my kid to my dad's house because her school isn't open that early (obviously) and then walk a mile to take 2 trains to work. God help me. I can't pay $350 a month for parking at work. #whatisschool

I always cut excercise when I'm in a schedule crunch during the school year, and I don't take time to prepare meals as well as I should. In preparing for this series, I've learned I have to make those 2 things top priority. #whatisschool
A2 Going to check out my arthritis in my foot. A pain (in more ways than one). And going to catch up with all the appointments I’ve ignored #whatisschool
I went years thinking I was a light sleeper only to find out I had sleep apnea ... not really sleeping at all ... now I have my machine that assists my sleep ... getting that good REM sleep #WhatIsSchool

A2. I built up to walking five miles a day and faithfully used @MapMyWalk as a self motivator. Then .. my hip couldn't do it anymore. I was SO sad. #whatisschool
And then I wonder why I'm sick or spent. I said to a couple things this summer, and it really made a difference. I have to remember to keep doing that. Just say no, Ellen #whatisschool My oxygen mask first so that I'm able to help others. @ShiftParadigm

A2: Oh my... overweight... lack of energy... bad knees... bad ankles... and just got back from the ENT & taking steroids & antibiotics for a sinus infection. (I refuse to get sick during the school year.) #WhatIsSchool
Sleep apnea is something that many people assume they can't possibly have until they get diagnosed! I just can't sleep because I can't calm down. #whatisschool

Having a similar story I look back and wondered why I did it. Certainly my life would have been very different if I had made other choices. I did it for the $$ to help make ends meet. #whatisschool
That's why my car has nice (loud) subwoofers because if I'm going to be driving that much I better be enjoying myself and waking up all the other drivers #whatisschool

I've learned from working on progress reports and report cards, I am at my best if I break up the job into compartments. Give yourself a 5 minute break when you're stressed. Put #whatisschool on your calendar:) @ShiftParadigm

A3: Right now I am just taking some to take some time for myself and relax. I would also like to start going for runs! It takes a lot of motivation to get started but I enjoy it when I do! #whatisschool

I'm a mess without sleep and when in a crunch I keep working. #whatisschool This summer I'm making a plan to change and taking steps toward change now.
A3: Actually taking the time to see various doctors.... ENT today, appointment with a physical therapist for my shoulder next week, a physical the week after that... And then, camping for 2 weeks (and after that I need a vacation from my vacation). #whatisschool

As we were preparing for this series I said how the end of the year does the same to me. I decided during the school year, even if I only swim on the weekends, that's progress. #whatisschool

A4 Will definitely be stressed as my grandkids will be spending this coming year in Israel. A sabbatical decision by their parents. I know it will be a good experience so will make sure I stay well and visit them when everyone settles in. #whatisschool
I just heard of a new app that tells you when certain trains break down so you can avoid them. Driving is so much easier but the traffic is ridiculous. If you're running late in a train you can't even call anyone to let them know. So annoying! #whatisschool

A4: Body repair (speaking from experience) never takes you back to the place you were before needing repair. However, renewal can result in seeing with "new eyes" what the body needs. It is the mind /body connection thats so important. #whatisschool
A2: right now I have been having back issues. I laid wrong on my sofa one day for too long a couple weeks ago and still have some stiffness and soreness. Going to get it checked out Monday to make sure nothing is wrong. #whatisschool

#whatisschool a4 Body renewal has to start with my brain. Lots of uni study but also practicing positisivism, making time for friend family and walking
I get "hooked" on foods for years at a time. Right now it is fruit and yogurt and a salad for dinner. I get them already prepared so it is super easy = no excuse not to eat healthy. #whatisschool
I have to wait a month to see him, unless a cancellation comes open, but I also ordered braces and ice packs today. I'm so busy during the school year I make the mistake of thinking it will get better or it can wait till break. #whatisschool

A3: To be honest I'm still not as active as I need to be because I have been busy with internship hours. I need to get on the ball to prepare for walking during a trip to Europe next month. #whatisschool

I am not sure what you should do ... but I realize now that I should have paid much less for housing, lived closer to the school I worked in, occasionally hired someone to help me. I put material things before myself. #whatisschool

#whatisschool Taking on a lot of different projects- Quiz Bowl, Future City, and STEAM center. The more we do the more strain we put on our bodies. Lake of sleep contributes as well.

I did a good job of making exercise a priority in the second half of the year. I need to do that in the fall. I also need to e more consistent with food. #whatisschool
A5: Bring a fridge and a lot of tea to work and make sure I'm eating and drinking throughout the day. And wear my sneakers and change into work shoes when I arrive #whatisschool
A5: i know what needs to be done, it's just a matter of making sure i do it! Writing myself notes of encouragement, getting a friend to encourage me, and just staying motivated to take care of myself is my plan! #whatisschool
If fitness is a chore to fit into a busy schedule it never lasts. It has to be prioritized and built in as a part of lifestyle. Not talking marathon training, but finding time for daily movement. #whatisschool
Chances are good that person doesn't see the value in it? I kept missing the point of it until I used Tweetdeck and then it was as if a lightbulb flashed on! #Whatisschool
#whatisschool My main physical ailment is my Anemia which flared up. Eating a lot of Iron lately. Plus my summer allergies. But getting a lot of sleep and relaxing and meditating helps a lot with the fatigue.

#whatisschool Body renewal comes from being aware of your limitations- physical limitations- getting enough sleep and unplugging and reading books and simply being with family.
Recharging is important. I took a break when I went back home this weekend. I didn't even take my computer with me. Long weekend much needed! #whatisschool

#whatisschool The most important thing to alleviate stress and fatigue is to take mindful steps to stay aware of your health. To pause, and relax. We all have busy lives and in order to find a balance we need to slow, breathe and find ways in which we can relax and renew.

A6: What has worked for me is that whenever I can walk or bike instead of taking a car I do. After limping for many years I received the gift of a new hip. Walking, biking, and my passion, Nordic skiing are now pain free and I give daily thanks. #whatisschool
