A1. District wide & state mandated assessments happen BOY, MOY, & EOY inside designated assessment windows. We use @CLIEngage & a district created 1-on-1 #PreK inventory #ECEchat
A1: In PreK we use CLI Engage to assess math at the BOY, MOY and EOY. This year we started using ESGI in kindergarten. I've gotten good feedback from teachers. #ECEchat
A1. Daily observations in both the indoor and outdoor classroom. Includes children's free play but also setting up scenarios/opportunities that target specific Early Ed Standards. #ECEChat

A2: Our Instructional Coach created a phenomenal portfolio with assessment tools and tracking sheets that keep our Essential Outcome data organized #ecechat
A2: ESGI does a great job of organizing the data. The important thing is what you do with the data. If your assessment data does not guide your instruction - its a waste of time. #ECEchat
hi #ecechat I'm Sara, a K teacher in Lake Tahoe, NV. Quite late to the chat but just wanted to say that I used some esgi reports in a family meeting this afternoon and it was so easy to assess, access and read the reports!
A3: My students are currently working towards counting and writing through ten. I send home weekly homework to help with this skill at home but add fun activities in school to enrich this learning through math centers #ECEChat
A3. #ECEchat one of our goals today was to program a #bluebot to travel to the number we rolled on the dice. We also used @kodable to start programming . Everything was done in groups of 2-3 kids. #csk8 is a great place to learn more about computer science in primary education.
A3 My Ss are working on writing, counting, and identifying 1-31 or 100; I'll use my class Facebook page to post "teacher talk" with strategies with more info for families #ecechat
A3: teen numbers, addition as subtraction to 10, counting to 100, Parents see ESGI data with report cards and we practice skills everyday during station work times therefore students are aware of goals and opportunities of growth #ECEchat
We are currently working on geometry standards and continue to develop number sense continually. We use @seesaw on a daily basis so families know what we are working on and what their individual student's work looks like. #ecechat

A4: I love my daily math centers. I first do my whole group instruction and then I break for my math center time. Students enjoy learning at each center and I’m able to differentiate at my center #ECEChat

It is a program my school pays for, but I can push out parent lessons to do along with their child for the S specific need or for whole class needs in S/E or academics #ECEchat
Teachers at my previous school used it all the time. One T would do live videos of her lessons. On my current campus, no one is using it that I know of. #ECEchat
A4 I do a lot with 10 frames to help develop Ss number sense; we play beat the T and Ss have to say a number before me to earn points, first to 10 wins #ecechat
A5: I’m blessed with a full time para that can help with daily math and reading interventions. We also have amazing EL and Math and Reading Interventions at our school. #ECEChat
Q5 intervention: build a strong base from where the S is then grow with individual, small group and peer teaching. Enrichment is allows S to apply and take to next level #ECEchat

A5: I would love to attempt doing a split of class with two other teachers into the three groups for data driven instruction and practice. Anyone do this on there campus? #ECEchat
