#NT2tEU expands upon the New Teachers to Twitter chat (#NT2t) for educators working in Europe. This chat helps teachers who are brand new to Twitter get to know the educational chat process and get a better handle on the social networking platform.

A2; I use "likes" as a bookmark for myself and like a tweet that I want to "keep" and go back to later on.

Likes are stored on profile page - easy to find things I have liked in the past. Can find tweeps likes on their profile.

Totally agree! I Love using Hashtags, and TweetDeck for later reference.
A3 Hashtags help you follow a chat thread.Tip=always type the # first so a) you don't forget and b) you know spaces left.
It makes tweeting easy & organized b/c u open columns of what u want opened- chats, mods etc
plus you don't get put in twitter jail from refreshing too often on your phone!
A2: I keep a list of my top 50 twitter educators in my Google Drive via a sheet. I constantly update it and add/drop folks.

you can also use to curate resources or parts of chats to reference later.
I use tchat.io for chats, it automatically adds the hashtag and I don't get distracted by all the other columns on my TweetDeck.

A4: DMs are "direct messages" and are used when you want a private convo with someone. You must follow each other to send DM.

Yes, you can drag the columns by clicking on the 3 vertical lines under the number in each column (Top left)

There are some great edu groups there. I follow several ones. Good place for longer questions/conversations.
