    As a kindergarten teacher, I always start the school year with play-doh. Students are able to create objects, shapes, letters and numbers. At the beginning of the year, I encourage them to build their name using the play-doh. #K12ArtChat #edt5335

    @k12artchat Q2: Many of our teachers use sidewalk chalk for students to practice math content outside. In Texas we have a lot of beautiful days, so there are many opportunities for education outdoors. #k12artchat #edt5335

    #K12ArtChat A4: How can student learning in any area be transformed through art? I believe most students learn by seeing and doing it, thus creating can/should be incorporated into everything they do. Thru math, science, history, etc.

    #K12ArtChat Anybody remembered Lego Logo? Late 1980s. It was a great way to build things that are programmed to move. Girls especially were encouraged to learn how to use it
