Hello everyone. Lots and lots of biking, developing and taking PD and then biking some more. Maybe head out to the Pacific Northwest for a week or so. #altic
summer plans - working, going to the lake, hanging out with family, facilitating book studies, PD, ISTE, ALET, AETC ..... and maybe getting some sleep! #ALTIC
Q1: I have stretched myself beyond my comfort zone. Taking a tech tool into a classroom transformed into conversations about best practices and focusing on student learning...not just engagement. Enjoyed meeting all of you too :) #ALTIC
A1: I believe participating in this program has really increased my self confidence. This program has confirmed that I am taking the correct steps in the technology coaching process. #ALTIC
A1 Practicing with purpose how to build relationships and partner with teachers helped me grow. I've never been more intentional in my interactions and decisions #ALTIC
A1: I went from partnering with teachers to actually coaching and allowing them to have more ownership. And @jimknight99 's resources from The Impact Cycle really helped guide me. #ALTIC
A1: Definitely echoing what @mrsnettles4th said- intentionally following a cycle has been a great learning experience for me. It is something I have aspired to do and hopefully will be able to continue! #ALTIC
A1: I have grown by learning and digging deeper into coaching through video, conversations, and stepping back to not be quick to offer answers. Becoming a better leader to teachers, admins, and students have made this year awesome. #altic
A2: I enjoyed the book study and the focused coaching cycle the most. It allowed me to really focus on how I'm working with teachers and to try a new approach. #ALTIC
A2: The small groups- getting to know my group and talking to them outside the assigned activities. Glad to call @carpese and @Kim_Lindsey00 friends now.#altic
The video process during the book study helped me the most, especially videoing myself and the conversations with teachers. #eyeopening#ccboeal#ccboeits#ALTIC
A2: Besides all the fantastic resources & checklists, the most beneficial part of the program was gaining a different perspective of the coaching model. #altic
A2: Visiting another school and the day in a life with another tech coach-good idea sharing and made me feel like there were others in the trenches like me. #ALTIC
A2. Jim Knight’s book and resources were most valuable to me. It was also good to hear from other coaches about their processes, challenges and celebrstions! #ALTIC
A2: I think reading the #impactcycle was most beneficial to me. I really thrive when given structure, and this book brought that much-needed structure to my coaching cycles. #altic
A2: sorry...I think I answered this in my Q1 answer, but I think reading the book and the activities that encouraged me to use the tools from the workbook and reflect on that process helped me to grow #ALTIC
A2: the collaboration with other Tech Leaders across the state and interactive discussions via Voxer and Twitter - each one has inspired me in ways I didn’t expect #ALTIC
A2: The whole video recording and reflecting was amazing. Very scary especially for the teacher but even more with trying to figure out how to talk and reflect with that teacher. Always have to remember we are not growing when we become comfortable. #altic
Even when the Voxer chats took 6 hours to listen to, I very much enjoyed everyone's voices. The video chat with @camruns re: dig citizen was a favorite. We even were able to see @sbrosetta new baby. #altic

A1: I am so much more aware of conversations and more purposeful when working with teachers to move beyond just training and helping to the coaching mindset. #ALTIC
RT @casiebarksdale: #ALTIC@Go_ALET A1: This program has helped me gain direction and focus for effective coaching. It has also helped me identify areas of strengths and weaknesses within myself.
A3: I would like to start the Passion Project earlier to give more time for implementing it. And me personally, less Voxer chats. I enjoyed them when I could listen but it was hard to listen to them all #ALTIC
A3: more time to get to know your leaders and group. Personal relationships build a path and bridge for more interaction and conversations. Having travel and visitation some kind of project to incorporate with the year and lesson. #altic
A3: Changes...Beta group will love knowing what form of collaboration will be used each month- Voxer, Twitter, F2F, BigBlue Button, etc.- to plan accordingly. I like the variety but knowing ahead of time helps us type A personalities. #altic
A2: The book. The checklist, how to use videos, etc, really changed my view of my job as well as come up with ways to help my teachers. I also really liked the face to face time we had. That was very meaningful. #ALTIC
A3: I have enjoyed the passion project, and it is something that I think is very important. But it may be helpful to announce that at the summer kickoff so everyone can think about it over the summer and plan for their project #ALTIC
A3: I know it takes many hours to construct a learning experience like this and I am so grateful to be a small part. I enjoyed every aspect. The September conference was my favorite and my suggestion for improvement is more detailed expectations for the passion project. #ALTIC
A3. My family is still upset over how much time I spent working on ALTIC stuff during the holidays, so I think a few changes scheduling projects between Thanksgiving and Christmas would be nice. #ALTIC
A3: Graduation in Hawaii! I needed to be stretched, so no improvement there. I benefited from all forms of communicating. Maybe visiting other districts a requirement. #ALTIC#ccboeits#ccboeal
A3: Require to make a visit to another coach in group- so you have to make time to visit your cohorts (wish I would have done this...ran out of time lol) I would like to have met as a small group and worked on a playbook- #ALTIC
A3: I would move up The Impact Cycle to finish before Christmas so that the Passion Project can be explored more second semester. More face to face or video. #ALTIC
A3: I would have liked to have some time to share links/resources/websites we use and love. There are so many different tools available! I think it's important to communicate with peers about what works and what doesn't. #ALTIC
A2: I wish we would have had more details of the passion project earlier. I would have liked to spent more time on it & wish I had had more time with teachers to work on it before end of year. I wish we would have had more face to face & maybe required visits of each other #altic
A3: I really like this suggestion! I would have loved to have visited others (but plan on keeping these connections and hopefully visiting informally soon). #ALTIC

A4: Twitter Chat, email, etc. I am so thankful for the relationships I have formed both in and out of my small group. Those connections have provided great feedback and ideas. #ALTIC
A4 I hope that we keep our facebook group so that we can communicate there along with twitter.I would love it if we could meet at conferences and share ideas. #altic
A4: I like that I have everyone's twitter accounts. I am a heavy voxer user so I would love if others would still want to connect that way. (Though I never use our group bc I feel like I am bothering others :) #ALTIC
#ALTIC I would like to see us keep in touch through a group email type forum where we can ask and share throughout the years. And help the next group somehow.
I had visitors but it wasn't a requirement...some of us need more nudges/excuses/assignments to ask for that accommodation to leave our daily duties. #altic
A4: I have followed everyone on Twitter and plan to stalk them all! HA! It'd be great to continue having chats and such. The Facebook group is another place we can keep in touch. #altic
A4: I hope everyone will present at GRITC, our conference in Baldwin County, every year so I will get to see you guys! 😁 but also we can connect through the Facebook page, emailing, Twitter, and Voxer. #ALTIC
A4: Twitter for sure. I'd love to see a graduate group for meet-ups at the conferences in the future. And I think having some of us as pop-in speakers for the Beta group would be fun. #altic

A4: We are connected in lots of ways now thanks to @Go_ALET. I look forward to keeping up with everyone! Even if I don't reply to Voxer, I'm listening. #ccboeits#ccboeal#ALTIC
A5: I'm interested in figuring out how to keep up with T records...sort of like anecdotal notes I kept on Ss but with adult learners. Something I can add to and access while out in classrooms. I'd also really love to talk to this group about the new standards coming out. #altic
A5: I need help to measure growth in the people I work with. I've made an @iste pre/post survey for my partner teachers but I'm looking for other scientific ways to measure growth. #altic
A5: I'm interested in how other coaches schedule teachers and follow-up. It would be nice to have feedback on what is successful and what is not. #ALTIC

Q5: I think one thing I still struggle with is enrolling teachers. I have several that I can easily work with, but how do you enroll those reluctant ones who don't see a need for change? #altic
A5: More opportunities. I also want to have a playbook or two on hand. I also agree with @vrcurtis for good examples and @carpese about new standards! #ALTIC
A5. Mostly I’m excited about putting together everything I’ve learned and practicing it from the beginning next year! I’m eager to see the growth I can bring to my teachers and myself. By this time next year I’ll know a lot more about where I need additional work. 🙂 #ALTIC
A5: I still struggle with a few principals who won't take part in the tech integration process. At some schools, the principal shows absolutely no interest in anything I do with his/her teachers. I haven't figured out how to address this. #ALTIC
A5: Still needing a district-wide solution. Hopefully my passion project will help with this. Like most of you, too many teachers and not enough coaches. #ALTIC#ccboeits#ccboeal
FA: ALTIC is a great way to meet a common group of educators to build your PLN, grow your knowledge in technology integration coaching, and find support for common obstacles. #ALTIC
