Hi everyone! I teach middle school math in PA.
I think both can make an impact; I could never leave the classroom, though. Love my kids!
I would rather be a teacher leader because you can spend more time mentoring and not doing office work.
I feel the same way. I need to be around the kids and the learning.
I am thankful for admins! They deal w/a lot more paperwork & issues that would break my <3. Part of what makes them great!
I salute & thank all the frontline educators who are under extreme pressure & stress to facilitate the learning of students

Might evolving T leader roles (both self-directed and institutionally driven) offer alternatives to Peter Principle admin promotion?
yes! There is so much value, it's important that we pick what type of leadership is best for each of us!
My favorite part about being a principal was coaching & mentoring. Moved from having children as students 2 adults as students.
