A1: I learn about new tools/ideas from other #StaffordITRTs, going to conferences, Twitter, books, and #novaedchat of course. Ss also have recently shared tools with me that they have used at other schools they were at which led me to look into them.
A1 I read. A lot. I read books and blogs and have been getting more into building a network on Twitter for inspiration and ideas. I also like talking to teachers and other tech coaches to hear the things they're trying #NoVAedChat
A2 I write tech tip emails to everyone at our school each week, I tweet using #ChantillyPD and send emails directly to people I think will love something I discover #NoVAedchat
A2: I have tried to share my ideas in many different ways from doing Lunch and Learns, holding PD's after school or during the summer, offering online classes, and more recently sharing through our hashtag @HamptonOaksElem#HamptonOaksPLC#novaedchat Still looking for magic wand.
A2: Love having informal get-togethers with #FCPSsbts. Also made it my mission this year to highlight and celebrate great teaching in my schools. I've made videos and write-ups on our virtual organization about the work we're doing. #NoVAedChat
A2: Everything goes into a Google Drive that everyone on my team can access and upload lessons/materials into. I tweet pictures or send them directly to my teammates to peek their interest! #NoVAedChat
It is though I am have high expectations for myself and when I only get 5 people to show up I beat myself up about it. I know I shouldn't but that's the Teacher I am. I high expectations for everyone Ss, Ts, Staff, and myself. #NoVAedchat

A3: recently I’ve been exploring chrome add ins like share to classroom, screencastify, and slide add ons. A tool I recently discovered is @ClassroomScreen simple, easy, great for workshop model! #NoVAedchat
A3: I still really love @Flipgrid- there's still a great deal of excitement with kids around it. I've been doing a lot of work with playlists and workplans, which I'm waaaaay into! #NoVAedChat
@Snagit is great tool that I love using! I always encourage our teachers & students to take advantage of its awesome capabilities w/ their instruction & learning! In the past, I've had students #screencast their work to help provide tutorial guides for other students! #NoVAedchat
A3: not super techy but my fav thing right now and has made be super organized: #discjournals - I have one for a planbook, a meeting/class book, and a bullter journal #NoVAedChat
A3: The tools I have recently found and have been trying to spread the word about are @Flipgrid and using video with Ss, as well as @Ozobot. I was already diving into video with Ss using #Safarilive and different online chats, but now @Flipgrid has opened a new world #novaedchat

Yes! That would be wonderful. It took a long time (too long for me to admit) to make my first flipgrid as the pop-up blocker kept stopping my video! #NoVAedChat
It happens. For years I was using iMovie to have kids record themselves reading, answering questions, etc. Now there is @Flipgrid that allows the collaboration to happen more. #NoVAedChat

A4: The tools I get most excited about are the ones that let students express themselves, collaborate, and share learning in meaningful ways #NovaEdChat
A4: What makes the tool(s) so fantastic is when I bring a new tool into a classroom with a teacher and class. Then they are blown away and the Ts see the benefit of how it can help the Ss and them. #novaedchat
A3: I’ve been working with teachers to introduce and integrate @Flipgrid and @Buncee this year! These tools are easy for teachers and students to work with. #NoVAedChat
#NoVAedchat A4 I look at what makes life easier for the s and t and what pushes the thinking. I love using tech, but if it just replaces an assignment or makes things harder it's not worth it. Good teaching can't be replaced with a device. We have to be mindful.
A5: A tool(s) I am currently looking for is 3D Printers. I am trying to help bring an innovative learning space into the school as a SmartLab. One of the things I want in the space is a 3D printer. Any ideas out there? What are your schools using? #novaedchat

A5: A classroom library organizer! I want the Ss to be able to know where books are in our classroom library or if they are already being read by a friend. My dream is a wall to wall classroom library #NoVAedChat
A5: My biggest struggle is finding a way to make recording assessment data easy for teachers. With restrictions on where it can live, I'm currently stuck with Excel. #NovaEdChat
A5 anyone know of something for Ss to create their own graphic story? I have seen some comic creators but not exactly what I am looking for. #NoVAedchat
Imagine the how-to tutorials we create as #FCPSsbts for teachers...so after our projects, I would have students use @Snagit to create similar clips, which we'd then compile into our notes & have for other/future classes. I'll share some examples I've saved w/ you! #NoVAedchat
