A2: I see about 360 students a week. I'm hoping to teach my students that Failing forward is OK and that we must have #sticktoittiveness in science and in life. Most important though will be relationships and how we all treat each other!.#OrEdChat
A4: #OREdchat you do need to take time to teach the skills, but then practice them. My Ss have the choice to write on notecards that go in the kindness mail box, we also use SEL meet up questions as writing prompts. Recess isn't only a time to play, but a time to practice empathy
A4 #OrEdChat Through conversations during morning devotions, reading & discussing picture books/novels that tough on SEL themes, & modelling during instructional time & non - many opportunities even over the lunch hour when you eat with them or interact w/ them on the playground

A5 #OrEdChat We do not have any formalized resources that we use, but their are so many great pb & novels that open up conversations between Ss Played a Social Skills board game w/ them last year that was really good
