Our chat tonight is designed to collect your feedback in order to make improvements for the future. Thank you in advance for making us stronger! #pln365
Hey, everyone! I'm brand new to #pln365... only joined Twitter about a month ago!!! I'm happy to hear that you've had a good year & am eager to join ya for year 2!
#pln365 I love this PLN- the support & generosity in the daily question and weekly chat is amazing. I love the camaraderie and friendship we have formed over the last year.
A1- I love the great educators who I have connected with through the #pln365 Love the concept of us brining it everyday to make schools better for our students.
Hey #pln365 I am joining in briefly, need a break to eat ;) but my fav is the connections every day, the inspiration from you Paul, the questions that cause me to think/reflect/grow
I admire @PaulONeill1972 dedication to provide us with learning #365 days.
The ability to learn and connect with others 😁 #PLN365
The videos have been a great addition this year.
#Thor
Every morning (or sometime later) a question is posted for thoughts. Each day of the week has a theme currently. TGIM, 21st Century learning, TBT, etc. #pln365

I am always down for a good 'what if', boundary pushing chat. love hearing everybody's outside the box, outside the paradigm thinking and actions #pln365
A2: I'm learning so much about being a trauma-responsive teacher! More of this! For my friends who teach the older Ss: testing anxiety in Ss and Ts. The benefits of a play-based education in younger Ss. Ideas on more parental involvement! #pln365
A2: I’d love to learn more about funding policy, particularly as it pertains to the link between property value and school funding, as well as the contrast between funding equality and funding equity, especially as it relates to the needs of communities in poverty/trauma. #pln365
A2b if anybody knows how to start their own school I would be all about that...the #4OCF crew has been chirping about this for a while #pln365 staff it with all the Twitter peeps
A2: I haven't been involved enough yet to know what's already been covered but I love social emotional topics and strategies for teachers to deal with secondary trauma #pln365
We had our budget meeting with the Super today for our region of the district and only had 10 employees show up. Wish more would be involved in it. #pln365
A1: I’m not able to join often with other obligations, but love the acceptance and community each time I’m able to. Way to go with one year @PaulONeill1972! #pln365
Congrats on one year! I’ve only been able to participe here and there. When I’ve joined you all, I always come away with something new-either a new idea or new connection. #pln365
A2:
Don’t know if it has been covered, it I’d love to look at arts integration and how the content areas can use the arts to make learning permanent, of course how arts teachers can support this! #pln365
A2 well, I just guest moderated #tnedchat and loved the topic of presenting at conferences, how to get started, fears, and love that we are all connected in diff groups Twitter and Voxer, need to push each other :) #pln365
A2: I would really like to see a chat where we all ask pressing questions that we want to know. I did a very open discussion on resources and I was liking and taking notes like crazy!!! #pln365
A3: Don't be afraid to go to the difficult and uncomfortable places involved in education. We need to push ourselves and not let the temptation of social media cloud the reality of our discussions. Be real at all times, good and bad. #PLN365
well said! I second this; we don't want SM to become an echo chamber; many of us have built solid relationships we can be vulnerable and have these talks #pln365
I really want to get trauma-informed trained. I’ve picked up a lot of strategies doing my own research and working with several challenging situations with Ss. I want to get trained so that I can share with others. Ppl respect training more than any of my ideas. 😞 #pln365
A1: Love the thought provoking questions that help me reflect on my practice and role as an educator! It is great to be involved with such a supportive group. #pln365
Happy one year anniversary #pln365 ! @PaulONeill1972 is an incredibly passionate, dedicated and kind edu leader! Thank you for inspiring educators globally, every day, to connect around a common purpose, Paul!
A2. Would love to hear about cross-disciplinary instruction, methods, etc. (As #theatreed teacher, I have dreams of discovering ways to use theatre to teach science & math). #pln365
A2: Only been joining in for a few months so not sure what has been covered. I’d say restorative practices, culturally responsive teaching, latest apps because I can’t keep up 😁#pln365
#pln365 I'd like to have system where chats can be added to Calendars...so people like me on a different time zones can be alerted time and we don't miss such wonderful chats
I must say that I do love moderating chats! Some looking to present, maybe moderating a chat can get the ideas flowing, connections growing #tnedchat#pln365 everyone should join in #teachermyth tonight :)
A2 I feel like this is a huge challenge with all social, but continuity. Like having follow up with trying a strategy and getting feedback from others #pln365
I think we've discussed this before: @SporLin is the guru of the trauma-informed movement!! The documentary, "@PaperTigersDoc " was written about his school! @HeatherTForbes and her book, "Help for Billy" are HUGE resources!! #pln365

A3: maybe create some sort of reminder for weekly chats! #g2great is always sending me a text the day of the chats so I don’t miss it!
Just a thought 💭 ##pln365
A2) I am always intrigued about #leadership. Digging deeper beneath the surface to challenge the status quo and help to empower others to be the change needed in our world 🌍 #PLN365
another one of my passions, did write a chapter in @EdumatchBooks Snapshot 2017 and also a few blogs, love seeing how the Ss choose to learn #pln365 and connect globally
Speaking about chats. If you have a few minutes, we are having a chat about Positivity in the classroom. 8:30 Sunday night, April 22nd. #Tchrwellness#pln365
Congrats to @PaulONeill1972 and #PLN365 being one year old! And thank you for all your hard work @SpEdcampNJ on Saturday! Your positivity and generosity is so welcomed! (As was the Excedrin!)
Book should be out this fall. Basically shows how the arts can be used to help students engage with comprehension and writer’s craft. Although it leans towards ELA it’s really about the arts. (Books are works of art, writers are artists) #pln365
one of the most interesting things is the non-prejudice of it...stress is stress no matter if it is a wealthy, neglectful parent or food insecurity in impoverished neighborhoods...the brain knows no difference #pln365
Going totally pbl in one class, without much background in it, but going all in with proficiency scales and student choice of activity. I’m a “fly by the seat of my pants” type. See what happens and get feedback from Ss. #PLN365
we are in year 2, I did a ton of research, reflection and this year pushed it to global and made some connections, learning about #SDGs as well using @edmodo@Flipgrid#pln365

Online training would be better. I’ll be honest. I’ve poured through research for years on the subject and talked to psychologist after psychologist about various cases. It is not the knowledge I lack but a document or certificate to prove it. #pln365

Quick plug (sorry if this is rude), I just know lot of #PLN365 is from NJ. There’s going to be a Flipgrid “Charge Up” (happy hour) in Hoboken May 10th. Would love to hang with some of this crew!! https://t.co/bNoYCQ6JOM
I see how little attention is paid to what stress and anxiety is doing to our Ss. With trauma-informed training, I feel like I may finally be able to bring attention to this subject. That is my hope. #pln365
