So back to the Q: Need we push Twitter? Popular in some places, not others. My kid said Twitter is for old people as much as Facebook!

A4: Most students are not on Twitter so it becomes rather difficult to get them to follow anyone who is not a celebrity.

A6 Perhaps there are mentoring and coaching opportunities on Twitter, at least to make initial contacts.

I'm currently reading The Darkest Minds by Alexandra Bracken. I've been told it's the next Hunger Games and Divergent. It's a trilogy.

Ss who are on here do like it. They love seeing posts about their progress in class, etc. Other Ss, we will need to get thu IG or SC

Some of these ideas can be used on other platforms (such as "caption this" on IG). But I do think Twitter's unique. Open to thoughts.

Think this is a good point. Ss should be encouraged to make connections, share learning, etc. but with choice of platform.

Love that you're connecting with parents that way. In the end it might show the benefit of expanding beyond one platform.

A lot of them are on Instagram. Ts could connect with them there using the same ideas.

Good to hear! And for those not on it, I don't mind a little nudge to encourage Twitter. Just curious about others' experiences.
