I agree that a first step is to identify the gaps we create for teachers by randomly prescribing professional learning for our staff members. #divergEd
A1: Teachers need the time to collaborate meaningfully and frequently with colleagues in order to guide all students to high levels of learning #divergED

A3: The sheer quantity of content that teachers are expected to teach and (more importantly) students are expected to learn is a huge obstacle to integration school improvement initiatives #divergED

A4 I feel like the answer to this involves the Heirarchy of Excellence...one piece: Routines & Procedures. Teachers must collaborate about R&P at grade and campus level. If one struggles, they must be coached by someone who can.
