I am a classroom teacher and you have to know that thinking that we can only learn from other classroom teachers is not opening our minds enough! We can learn from everyone in the education field! We grow from learning how to see other perspectives. #EduAR
While I have no doubt you "miss the classroom all the time," those of us still in it (some, but sadly not all, because we love it) need to talk to each other more and the gurus less.
No one leaves the classroom because they have to--folks leave because they want to.

A1 There are so many I don’t even know what to choose. But one from today really sticks out to me:
“Sometimes the heart sees what is invisble to the eye.” -H. Jackson Brown
Always look and listen with your heart. Be kind. Always.
A2 As a father and an educator. When I need a boost, a reminder or share with others that anything is possible, I love this video of Jessica's Daily Affirmations. Let us approach everything with such joy and hope.
A2: This video y'all. Charlotte Brown qualified for state in track. As a pole vaulter. And she's blind.
Talk about eliminating excuses for me! Gotta find a way to overcome! #EduARhttps://t.co/GgZ8wNxfeT
A2 - don’t have access to this video b/c it’s one of my #alted Ss graduation speech. She talked about how she grew from this immature, irresponsible, reckless young girl into a refined, elegant young woman. It was pretty powerful given our school parameters #EduAR
A4 Love my Sirius subscription, but sometimes just enjoy listening to Voxer messages, my PLN is awesome #4OCFPLN but lately, loving the song No roots by Alice Merton or Unwritten by Natasha Bedingfield, and always the 80s music too #eduAR
A4 My daughter and I jam out to anything girl power in the mornings Fight Song, Roar, Taylor Swift etc and the Zombies soundtrack and the greatest showman soundtrack windows down and the radio up #EduAR
A5 I wanted to make a difference, to be there to help change the lives of others. To build and share hope, kindness, love and help make dreams come true. I want to help empower others so they become everything they can be. #eduAR
A1 #eduar "Share a quote that keeps you going when your work gets tough" @aaron_hogan These are quotes I shared with my @Entrepreneur class this year. I tried to start every class with one and they motivated me.
A5:I had some fantastic teachers who made an incredible impact on me, but I also had some who seemed to hate their chosen path. That had just as large an impact on me. The great ones inspired me to get started, the not so great inspired me to love it & my kids everyday! #eduar
A4: Currently on my latest obsession playlist is “This is Me” from The Greatest Showman. “Found/Tonight” by @Lin_Manuel & Ben Platt but y’all should check out “Fight On” by @BarrettBaber He was an awesome debate T who went on to live his dream on #thevoice...#EduAR
They come to our room because it’s a safe place and they know we will celebrate them, even the smallest accomplishments! I love that we have that kind of relationships with our kiddos- so worth coming to work each day for moments like this!
A5: My great Aunt Norma was my first and second grade teacher; she let me be her helper to contain my energy and put it to work. She loved unconditionally and made everyone feel like they were her favorite. She taught for 50 years; I wanted to be her!! #eduAR
A5 Honestly it was teachers a few teachers who had a way of communicating not just passion for their content, but living life to its fullest. Profound impact, combined with a desire to pay that forward with young people took me into education #EduAR
A5 my 3rd gr teacher who was student centered, flexible seating, voice and choice before these things were buzzwords in education! She loved you and knew you and you felt safe and wanted in that classroom she was the original #champforkids#EduAR
A5 Jumping in late! Crazy week! I come from a long legacy of teachers. My family reunion memories as a child are of joyful recaps of everyone’s school year in the classroom. They loved it, lived it and breathed it, & I always knew I would too. ❤️ #eduar
A5: My second grade teacher. She was an amazing teacher-first one in our school to have the brand new Speak and Spell and an electric pencil sharpener!! She then became a great colleague 16+ years later when I came back home to teach. #EduAR
We have about one chat a month this year. We did two a month last year. I like the two a month better, but not sure what we will do next year. We send out questions ahead of time so teachers have time to prepare thoughts and ideas. #EduAR
A5: I feel like I've always known I wanted to be a teacher but the fact that I get to have fun with kiddos, laugh, and learn with them all day long really keeps me going😊 #bestjobintheworld#EduAR#TeacherMyth
A5~ The awesome community of teachers, principal, school nurse at my elementary school❤️❤️❤️❤️they cared, corrected, empowered , & loved us as we were & encouraged us to be the best version of ourselves! #EduAr

A5 I love to learn. I love the way children see things. just always knew I had to be involved in that joy whether it was teaching first grade, teaching children with Autism to communicate or helping teachers with math instruction #eduar
A5: I honestly believe that I became a T because I 💜 being at school growing up & even now 23 yrs in I’m really anxious about leaving for the summer....I relate to our Ss that only feel safe at school #EduAR
A6: Every May when I watch the DVD I make for my kids with all the photos from the year and hear them relive the moments, laugh, and the moment of silence at the end when they realize the year is over makes me tear up a bit. #EduAR
A7: Joy is contagious and can positively influence and inspire people. Delight in the presence of the person in your presence and watch them soar to new heights! Be a Joy-Maker and let the ripples of positivity begin. #eduAR
A7: It’s always wonderful when someone leaves a little note specifically praising something special about what you do. We can be so hard on ourselves, it’s nice when others remind us of the good things. I know this means the world to me, so my plan is to pay that forward. #eduar
A7: I’m going to watch the videos shared and @khoggardGRT get ready to listen to some new songs in the am- we’ll be jamming to some inspiration tomorrow to get our Fabulous Friday started right! #eduAR#LoveLiteracyLearning
