Have students write up their steps a la instructables. Look to iterate and improve their designs.
Making provides students with choice in learning - very powerful - self-driven learning is authentic learning!

Makerspace is a living risk taking, fail forward lab for our Ss...and Ts.
I allow Ss to design/"make" assessments for their peers to complete 75% for making, 25% for taking
