#WhatIsSchool Building relationships keeps me grounded. Keeps me mindful and focused on the little things- seeing the light bulbs brighten, entering the laughter, feeling so much honor in truly knowing my students. I feel such joy being in my classroom with my students everyday

That's so true. We have a gifted and talented teachers FB group and I'm never sure if there's an impact or not and then you get a message saying that something you shared had changed practice. You never know sometimes. #whatisschool

A4 As a teacher, I have to be a learner! Learning new things and then teaching them. I do a great project with art and Hummingbird Robotics- Moving Masterpieces! A far cry from the art classes I had.#WhatIsSchool

I was thinking when I was swimming yesterday that I bet they don't have difficulty figuring out their purpose. When we were able to Skype with the kids we were helping, their smiles stuck with me the most. Their smiles could light up any room. #whatisschool
