A1: Teamwork, using what we talk about during planning to teach each other and show each other what a lesson might look like. Tweeting it to encourage others to try. It really helps if we are confused about content, or have other ways to teach a hard concept. #UCPSchat

A1: @StallingsES we have great STEAM clubs after school offered to all Ss. We also have a lot of parents that are invloved and that volunteer their time with us. We have very active FB & Twitter accts that share this info with parents. #ucpschat

A2: 4, we are great at sharing on all sites of social media, twitter, instagram, and facebook. We have a few teachers that split the roles, as well as having our admin post if the teachers aren't able to post right away. We also love sharing our amazing s's. #UCPSchat
A2: 2.5–this is an area of improvement for @UCPS_MonroeNC. If you didn’t know...we have competition! Marketing can’t be about fancy brochures and social media...must und. customer needs and share how you are/will meet those needs! #UCPSChat

As a parent I love the pictures that are tweeted from @StallingsES. Teachers could also create a class hashtag for parents to follow all year and share that way! #UCPSChat

A2: Raking of a 4 as we have been working with various stakeholders to improve our website and other communication outlets. We have seen an increase in school tours since the adjustment of our marketing strategies. There's always room for improvement #UCPSchat@AGHoulihan
A3: Get your name out there as often as possible! I like to Tweet multiple times a week (sometimes multiple times a day 😁) about what's going on in my class. Teaming up with cluster schools & feeder schools to get our name out there would really help out! #ucpschat

A2: Pretty good, but there's always room for improvement to get out "our story..." Shout out to some NTES teachers visiting preschools in our area this week to share the NTES experience! #UCPSchat

A4: Sell your school based on its high points! There are so many options around us, but year after year we have returning families that love the @StallingsES education they receive. Don't stop promoting even in summer! Keep communication going year round! #ucpschat
A4: get them involved with social media, have them be a part of the brand of how we incorporate students, staff and parents and help bring our community together as one. When students see parents excited, they get excited! #UCPSchat

Yes! It doesn't even have to be all social media. Tell your friends, tell your neighbors. You can be at the pool over summer break sharing the awesome things that happen in your class! #UCPSChat

A3: COMMUNICATE! Get out your story often. Share student pictures, videos-- parents want to see what's happening inside the school. Our social media presence keeps parents positively engaged within our school community. Give them the "story" you want them talking about. #UCPSchat

Alternative doesn't need to have a negative connotation. As we improve with PBIS/MTSS (and other practices soon!), we should see more academic & behavioral growth. This will make us a viable & desirable option for Ss & families who need a different learning environment. #UCPSchat
