used a variety of methods over the years; delicious, scoop.it, RSS readers.. now trying to use Pocket but info adds up quick
Twitter is a great way to get access to curated materials. Just tweet what you are looking for and someone will help you.

Q1 What has been your most successful curation effort?
I find that collecting, storing is the easy part- going back and curating/revising, then sharing the hard part. Suggestions?
Fred, I engaged my high school students (and partner teachers) in helping with maintaining and growing curation
Being an educator means being a connected Teacher, a curator of content as well as being a Creator of content
