A1: even greater collaboration and shared vision from our S.I.T. and student leaders
We had a great first year with a weekly early release collaboration/PLC model to support our MTSS and PBIS initiative.Baby steps!
A1: High School Points system led to fewer Discipline Hearings this year. RtI implementation is almost to critical mass
YES! collaboration is the key to student and adult success!
Now that's a celebration! You obviously had to have staff ownership for that to happen...congrats!
Baby steps lead to the greatest outcomes & successes. PLCs can have a HUGE impact on teaching & learning
Shared vision & ownership are game changers.

It wasn't perfect and our teams are still working through the process, but we should be set for solid year two.

That is powerful Professional Learning. Takes trust & and vulnerability
Created clubs for our 6th graders. Kids loved them and a great way for kids to connect with their passions!

Q4 We were able to assist a few struggling students with a seat time waiver program to graduate on time.

Q4: What advice would you give yourself if you were able to re-play the school year?
A4: Don't fall behind on learning walks and observations! First year with Thoughtful Classroom, had to iron out my process

Q3 We our industrial arts program was able to win their third straight grand award at states.
This a celebration--think of the feedback staff was able to gain. congrats!

Easy to get caught in the weeds. The end of a year is great for regaining perspective.
Q4: There were several situation where going slow to go fast should have been kept in mind. Tough not operate like a task list
A4: Live life more. The work'll always be there. Don't work harder than the Ss. Try to save them, in the end don't kill yourself.
Q4 Continued focus on shared leadership with all staff. We are in this together!

A3: Mental Health Initiative kicked off shared personal story with 700+ GHAPS employees on opening day.

big focus areas--you must have dedicated staff and a clear vision
A5: Continued implementation of RtI for sure.
A5: Continue with clubs, add advisory time, and add job embedded PD for teachers.
For sure! A focus on students is always top on the list as is supporting teachers and administrators.
