Great to have you here tonight Urbie! Have you used Street View to create your own #VR 360's? I know we had a chance to create it at the training with @christycate#ARVRinEDU
#arvrinedu I’ve had mixed success. I’ve used my drones to capture 360s.. but then what? It’s one thing to upload them. But shouldn’t there be a story (or something engaging) to justify making them available?
Absolutely! Since you can automatically download the 360 into your camera roll, you can then upload the image into other platforms such as @cospaces_edu or @TheRoundme#ARVRinEDU

Q2 Have you tried any great #AR resources to explore geography? If so, how have the students responded?
Get ready to explore a new app with @clever_books. Download at https://t.co/qi141dCrLe for next question.
#ARVRinEDU
A1: They’re great for exploring other nations and historical times that are beyond the reach of a field trip. It’s more impactful than just showing pictures on a screen-also it makes it more concrete for my special needs students. #ARVRinEDU
Q3 Now explore the @clever_books Geography app by scanning this image and selecting continents. #ARVRinEDU
How can this type of exploration benefit our students?
A1: It seems like one of the most obvious ways to incorporate #arvrinedu into social studies curriculum by using #googleexpeditions. I just recently explored the @googleearth#VR experience with a friend's @htcvive and it was amazing! So many possibilities!
1600 is a cool, quick 1 time AR app for social studies, but AR in @GoogleForEdu Expeditions lets you bring landforms and the globe to life in your classroom #ARVRinEDU

A3: that one’s new for me-thanks. I think making it kinesthetic (movement of view on my device) and visual makes it more likely to be retained by students. #ARVRinEDU
We do play on Day 1, but we work up to that kind of event as some don’t start with the capacity for that much adventure. My favorite AR use with them so far is documenting their #PBL efforts and having their project be a trigger to show their process video #ARVRinEDU
You can download the app and view it now. I try to share new resources each week so that we can continue to build our library of #ARVRinEDU tools. https://t.co/qi141dCrLe
Very cool idea. Do you run into any privacy issues such as recording the special needs students? I've found that those programs have a heightened sense of caution with videos. #ARVRinEDU
Q5 FINAL THOUGHTS! Did you know you can explore all the continents? @Clever_books has the full map to explore much more. How can classrooms use this tool for learning? #ARVRinEDUhttps://t.co/qi141dCrLe
I like the way it shows regional animals and info. I’d like it if there are ones that include cultural icons too (instruments, architecture, important people from areas)-maybe that already exists #ARVRinedu
Hey #ARVRinEDU squad! Not much to offer on this topic but I just want to say how much I enjoy following along and appreciate what @JaimeDonally is doing for the #AR#vr community!
There are definitely some F2F interactions that can occur in #AR, but we're also seeing our #VR social interactions beginning to pick up. It will be interesting as these tools continue to improve and grow in need and popularity. #ARVRinEDU

Take a look at this 360-degree tiny planet we created with Benjamin Franklin at the First Public Library in the USA - Franklin, MA
Also birthplace of Horace Mann, Founding Father of US Public Education https://t.co/MvzfSzZil9#ARVRinEDU#VR#WebVR
Thanks for the mention! supervxn: @HistoryViewVR@JaimeDonally I'm looking to show Ts in Israel how this could be implemented in class. Any specific lesson plans? #ARVRinEDU
