Q1: Are the arts integrated in your classroom/school/district? In what ways?

A1: Collaborating with art and music teachers to bring content area to life has enormous potential and is underutilized.

A1: I honestly don't know how to answer this question because I don't tihnk they do much of it

A1 I feel it's always tricky at secondary level for any interdisciplinary collab. However, always encouraged when possible

I'm arm knitting!! I made a whole bunch last year & found the yarn. Decided to take a night off of school work

A1: I think it would be amazing for art or music teachers to find a way to make the rock cycle artistic or multiplication musical

Our library recently set up maker space ; Lo and hi tech creation station

A1. Love when Ts find ways to incorporate art as a choice in so many projects. Gets kids excited and highlights passions.

A2 Art finds it's way into my science curric regularly (cell analogy/ genetic monster/ human body tracings) and in my advisory work!

A2: I am increasingly trying to find ways to include creating something & letting kids be artistic into learning but its hard...

Currently minimal amount of tech integration. I find it a challenge without the hardware for students. I use twitter

a1- our dist sd unified is piloting an art integ program at 22 title 1 schools. My sch has artists coteach w 2nd. &3rd once a week

A2 Speaking of performing arts, my Public Speaking class spends time with improv activities to engage and build s2s rapport
