most inspirational experience is when my Ss make connections between different cultures and see SIMILARITIES over differences.
A1 this year each day kids fill out a slip about a class mate who was their day maker,we share out each day. Kids ❤ it

That's one of the reasons I created - to build a movement on what's best for Ss & not testing!
A2: We did a writing project with a class in the UK and talked about education access with Ss in Nigeria.
A2 last year we connected in the US but we did mystery # and Skype about poetry this year I want to add to those experiences

A3: I can only imagine the empathy growth & interest in other people in general it would give my 1st graders.
