A3: One strategy I try to use is to pre-teach content for the next day or week. If I can support students with disabilities by making sure they have the prior knowledge they need and setting them up to feel successful in class, it makes a huge difference. #SwDMathChat
10-15 min mini-lesson then stations and small group with teacher in 3-4 rotations for differentiation. 5 min closure and share time. Guided math. #swdmathchat
A5: I am always nervous giving choice because I worry it will lower expectations, but I also see the difference it can make in engagement! Something to work on. #SwDMathChat
A6: I want to work on better strategies and scaffolds for supporting SwD in using mathematical language. I'm not sure exactly what it should look like, but I know I can get a lot better at it. #SwDMathChat
