I’m the new guy in this one. Graduate from Oklahoma State in May. This past season I was the OC/OL for Sand Springs(OK) 8th Grade. If I could be doing something different, PLEASE help me out, I just wanna learn #TXHSFBCHAT
A1: Doesn't matter how you run snag, you always just have another simple double move that paints the picture and changes the seen. One step and corner post, stop and climb.
#txhsfbchat
A1 - only know snag as : snag , corner , swing but build it from all sorts of formations. Will run a copo on the post and and a snag and climb off the snag. #TXHSFBCHAT
you could tag T corner so you could have a smash concept backside to with a triple stack recievers set that runs the snag concept, but it would change each time on the trips side because each route can be ran by any of the 3. #TXHSFBCHAT
A2: I like it done two ways. Original split back formation with Z running post, streak, corner, or sail/out. H and F (two backs) will run a swing and shoot. Swing to X and shoot to Z. 2nd is Mesh Switch from trips rt/lt. June Jones Hal Mumme combo.
A3: WR is being taught to look across at opposite mesher to see if man or zone. In man, continue on path and start bending vertically toward hash. In zone, sit down in first available open window. #txhsfbchat
A2&3: I’ve always been under the impression that if you’re going to run mesh, you have to rep the piss out of it. Never felt like we had enough time so I scrapped it. Definitely something I want to get into though #txhsfbchat
I run it a ton obviously, its one of my favorite plays. Rules vary on the variation on the play. AC 92, ERL/LAT 92, ERL/LAT 92 PST WHL, and LAT SNAKE are all read and taught a little differently.
However, easy rule for just 2x2 ACE 92, pick the side with the softest corner.
A4: Only mirrored when we want to get RB or H-back down the middle. Out of 2x2 we liked Mills on the backside. 3x1 we liked the inside guy to run a seam. #TXHSFBCHAT
A4: I run regular Smash and also out of trips with either a post or post corner, but I like to roll to it out of 2X2. Quick hit on hitch or corner, but backside drag can be a home run when safety jumps corner.

A4: I love the SLUGO tag to the X or the Z when running 98 (smash). It’s a great shot play, especially when tempo’d. However, it takes a little longer to develop.

Thank you coaches for making #TXHSFBCHAT part of your development! Good luck to all those still fortunate enough to be playing! See y'all next week with @coachgugs leading the way!
