A1: we played Olympic Games & had Olympic themed day yesterday. Only dealt with the positive aspect of building relationships
A1. We are having a welcome celebration followed by a faculty cookout w teambuilding! No talk about data on first day!
A1: when Ss walk into my room day one they will see a Teacher Pirate literally. Gonna them into a great year of learning

A1 No longer in education, but this will be my 1st yr serving on PTA. We're welcoming teachers back with a lunch
Ss are welcomed by a room that is pretty cutting edge and we have gone 1:1 and Ss will be taking the laptops home.
A1: I am also encouraging them to do what is best for kids, not what is easy for adults

it's convenient for parents, so they don't have to buy brand new uniforms. Some families cannot afford it

I know many of ours can't either. We also get donations of brand new stuff that we give to families.

A3 I make it a goal to be intentional about mentoring Ss--both in school and in the community.
