Expect vigor; expect that every single student will learn beyond their abilities. Push vigor, not rigor. Rigor comes from the Latin word - rigor mortis which means "death" and "stiff." Vigor means energy and excitement!

A4: our district is using The 4 Discplines of Execution (4DX) to help us create Wildly Important Goals. My nugget is that while the "whirlwind" happens around us -if we set more than 3 or 4 goals - none will get done. FOCUS! #admin2b

Leaders have to trust and respect their staff. I think what is micromanaging to one is considered support by another. It can be a fine line and important to know staff.
