A1: It is important to take time to collaborate with other teachers. It could be a face to face meeting or electronically somehow. We need to share our ideas with each other. #champforkids

Exactly. Because I couldn't get Ss outside of the school physically this year, I tried to organize video conferences w/ Ss doing amazing projects in other areas of the world. Was lucky enough to connect w/ some of @DonWettrick Ss @Luke_Johnstonn @Luke__Reks and ++ #champforkids
    • tylergehrking Jun 26 @ 8:19 PM EDT
Yes. I don’t know how this would work logistically, but instead of spending half of HS learning esoteric info I’d like to see Ss spend 50% of time OUTSIDE of the classroom. Ya know, in the real world that we are supposedly preparing them for..🤷🏻‍♂️

A3- I write notes to my kids all the time to show I’m listening. I’ll ask if they won their baseball game, if they ate breakfast, how they’re liking a new book, how the weekend at their dad’s house went, etc. Students’ faces lights up when I pass a note! #champforkids
