A1: #socialmedia has change teaching and learning. LMS systems have become major tools for Ts & Ss to communicate with each other. Social interaction built into these systems in a way similar to #Facebook to ease the way of communication. #edmodo is one example.#AfricaEd
But also the use of @YouTube@WhatsApp@Flipgrid and @Snapchat are a few to count as tools that help in engaging the students in their learning paths. One thing we need to be careful with as Ts is to use these tools to help in achieving the learners goals. #AfricaEd

Yes & IT tools MUST transform & redefine learning! #Socialmedia tools can do this by offering innovative & collaborative spaces to create. Otherwise, why invest in tools that merely replicate & don't fundamentally change the function of teaching & learning?

Exactly! Librarians are doing just this, launched our #inTLlead project @Moodle in November to create a space where we can share resources, conversations, & training to improve our professional practice. Extra benefit: so. much. fun! https://t.co/VqBzO5AzTl#AfricaED#inTLchat
