Q1: How do you currently communicate what is going on in your school to the community?

A1. School website, newsletters, and in school programs such as parent coffees, Lunch & Learn, Family Academic Nights.

A1: our school's social media accounts and newsletter, admin meetings with community leaders, and our advisory committee meetings

A1: Monthly newsletter, parent link, school & district website, teacher classroom newsletter, community flyer, classdojo, remind101.

Our Ts use Class DoJo. We also use a parent call out program like Remind 101, and Facebook page.

In order to tell the school's story, stay focused on the mission and communicate it daily

A2: A variety of people submit newsletter articles. Multiple staff can post on our social media. Range of advisory participants.

A2: I would answer with a question...what does the school data suggest?community attendance, analytics, etc.

A2: Continue to check the pulse of our community through phone calls, parent universities, focus groups of S's, T's, and community

Excellent Response! Need to have a focus, believe it, and TELL it repeatedly. Transparency too!

A2: The Admin roundtable is powerful. It keeps us connected to the community and parents.

Focus on students in feature articles. Include students in our monthly advisory group. Have students tweet using our district tag

A3: WDOG (student tv show), newspaper, student web posts

A3: Our Ss announce the greatness happening on morning announcements.

has let students take over school Twitter account. With proper counseling and governance a cool idea!

A3: They are celebrated at Sch. Board meetings, and on districts websites.

A3 student voice is vital in building inclusive culture where kids are engaged in school community. Check out RSVP program.

Q4: TASK-> Using SM, blog, etc...share something about your school you are especially proud of. In other words, tell your story!

Good point! Our students also tell our story via the school newspaper and our weekly video production.

A4: We have a R.E.A.D bus that go out into the community and give bks out to Ss Our Robotics Team placed 3rd Robotics Tournament

AP's carry a big load in the school. They help set tone and engage students over and over daily. Stay positive,LEAD and just do it!
