A6 This yr will be different because we are moving to SBR for our 6th & 7th grade classes. Can’t wait to see how this shift changes the dialogue from “what can I do to improve my grade” to “what can I do to improve my learning”. #iledchat

A5: I loved using #Seesaw with my kindergarten class last year. It was a great way to give parents a glimpse of the school day. Students took great pride in sharing their work and learning new ways to use technology to "show what they know". #iledchat

A5 I think I inspire others by being a risk taker with technology. I don’t expect myself to be an expert before I try something in the classroom. I am willing to try & have my ss help me figure it along the way. Just have a back up plan for launch day & go for it. #iledchat

The first teacher to inspire me was my 8th-grade social studies teacher. she was the first teacher to truly challenge students and really have high expectations for us. she is a big reason I want to teach! #ILEdchat

There are so many! One is of the 7th grade teacher who organized our school's first MLK celebration. She chose me to recite the beginning of his dream speech for the entire school. Changed my life & still impacts my life to this day. #ILEdChat

A7: The word education in Latin means to lead out. Anytime you can lead out someone's gifts, talents, & insight, you empower them to move, change, and create something dynamic in the world. #ILEdChat
