When I was moved involuntarily to a new grade and a new school. I was devastated but it ended up being the best thing for me. My new principal taught me about twitter and there has been no going back. I met all of you..

Small thing but I'm teaching a new tech course in shared computer lab space that was a MESS. Spent many hours this week cleaning & organizing the room in time for my first class in there yesterday.

Honestly, I think my whole life is a victory, truly Blessed! I was born an underdog, raised an underdog, and it lit a fire in me that no one could ever extinguish #bfc530 If I can do it, anyone can..they just need someone to believe in them (i will!)

Special Needs student wanted 2 take MOS cert but was worried about time.We looked into it and found student was eligible to get an extra hour. Took them the whole 2hours but at the last minute student passed. Both of us were jumping for joy! Was so cool! #bfc530

#bfc530 Being the underdog has actually led me to victory. I started #writing in every struggle I have faced, and I have won several awards for my short stories. I would not have that recognition without the challenges that inspired those #stories.

My victory was rquitting my successful work in sales and marketing to become a teacher. Dropping the income and going to school was hard (in many ways), going back to school in my 40s was difficult (but an absolute blast), being in the classroom fills my cup daily #bfc530

Morning, #bfc530. High-school me, studying abroad in England, got roped into formal debate opposing claim that "United States shouldn't exist." I lost, but afterwards judges complimented my argument & said hostile environment never game me fair chance. Felt like victory :)
