I don't think I have gotten enough training on google classroom tho. We use the g drive a lot though.

Our middle & secondary Ts use google classroom, but not elementary.

LMS Design? granular gradebook, intuitive calendar & assigns; SM plug-ins; T & admin access for Ss & parents; e-folio dvmt.
I feel the same way - it was a great year & went too quickly
we are their guaranteed morning smile, meal, and caring environment. We worry about them all summer.
My LMS would have built-in auto share for families via text message. Keeps them in the loop w/o need for a computer/tablet.
A great LMS would integrated standards based grade book, realtime feedbk/collab, AT tools for young/SPED Ss, + P view only mode
Preferred feature of LMS...fully-integrated communication tool that all can access to follow learning journey of their Ss/children.

Yes, but as long as we have the number of the parent, no need for them to sign up. Automatic.
I tried getting certified but had a real trouble since I wasn't teaching at a school and didn't have GCR
W/G Classrm, Ss can use voice typing+Ts can use Share to classroom extension to push content to class
Some of which she will only fully realize weeks, months and even years from now! π

You can get your google certificate level 1 and 2 w/o having a google classroom as long as you have email.
no. It's only available to school districts who register with Google Apps for Education.
Schools can look into single signon solutions like Clever for young ones. Device cam scans a QR code!
But can't anyone access google drive as long as they have an email?

That's true. Anyone can get certified as an individual. Classroom is it's own entity

If a S in Grade 7 can't work it out, if it takes 2-3Yrs to get 'the hang' of it, it's not doing it's job.
