Hello #moedchat. Brad Moser from Blue Valley! Long time! Joining in from the KS side! Dealing with house power problems but will try to stay connected! #bvblended
A1 Technology encompasses a variety of tools that may be used to personalize instruction & assessment, with the goal of increased engagement and improved teaching and learning. #moedchat@iste18
That’s why you can afford no breaks! The kids are good at that stuff! I have a kid who has made 3 “mini-levels” in his game and I can’t beat them… #moedchat
A1: Technology helps students to find their voice (especially the quiet ones) as well as ways to express their learning outside of a piece of paper. #moedchat
A1: The purpose of technology is the classroom is to enhance and to enrich the lessons and learning. The main purpose for me is to take down the classroom walls and bring the world to my students. #moedchat
Hello #moedchat. Brad Moser from Blue Valley! Long time! Joining in from the KS side! Dealing with house power problems but will try to stay connected! #bvblended
A1 The purpose of tech in the classroom is to empower students. Technology gives all students a voice and allows them to show their learning in ways that are important to them. #moedchat
A1 the purpose is preparing students for today’s real world - benefits are that it’s more engaging & realistic & opens up our walls & resouces to our entire world (limitless!) #moedchat
Integrating technology in the classroom is an excellent way of teaching all types of learning styles. Technology can also be a great way of teaching students responsibility. #moedchat
It's #moedchat time! We need YOUR ideas for chats. TOGETHER we innovate, learn/grow, have fun...& build a rich community! We're looking to go beyond basic topics to Qs, Stories....& we'd like to create Experiences. New use of technology w/chat, etc. DM/tweet/holler! #tlap#eduAR
Q1: Hello! My name is Adalie. I have an education degree from University of Missouri- Columbia or Mizzou and I am seeking my Masters of Arts in Teaching with a K-12 Health Certification. I am tweeting from St. Louis, Missouri! #MOedchat
A1 the benefits are preparing students for skills they will need in the https://t.co/s3LuUKyurH also gives Ss and Ts new ways to create, produce and exhibit their knowledge and ideas as well as tell their story #moedchat
I believe using as little to no technology in my future physical https://t.co/Yg6s22c1tG answer the question though,I think technology is used morein classrooms. In todays world everyone relies so much on technology in general that they have to throw it in the classroom.#MOedchat
A1 The purpose is to keep the age-old focus of creating adults ready for the world they will be living in. The benefit is that we actually do that #moedchat
A1 Integrating technology in the classroom is an excellent way of teaching all types of learning styles. Technology can also be a great way of teaching students responsibility. #moedchat
Technology is going to be a part of the rest of their lives, might as well teach students how to discern information and use their knowledge for good! #moedchat
A1 the purpose is preparing students for today’s real world - benefits are that it’s more engaging & realistic & opens up our walls & resouces to our entire world (limitless!) #moedchat
A1. Technology allows teachers to integrate multiple perspectives on topics as one way to meet the needs of diverse learners. This can happen through videos, DIY activities, case studies, etc. #MOedchat
Q1: The purpose is to take critical thinking up a notch to where the future will be. Technology is today and tomorrow. It's a challenge to create and a method to make gains instead of losses. #moedchat
A1 1. Model real/future world. 2. Allow for tools that expand learning possibilities. Empower Ss to create & apply learning. 3. As engaging as the T makes it, it can be engaging. 4. Can offer faster, therefore more meaningful feedback. #moedchat
A1: Technology in the classroom are tools to enhance learning. Another way to differentiate learning. Bridging teaching and learning with technology of today to learn skills for tomorrow. #moedchat
A1 one of the reasons for using technology in the classroom is because it allows students to be themselves, they are able to add personal touches to assignments making them more meaningful and authentic #moedchat
A1 We need to be using technology because it builds on good teaching and gives Ss access and reach to projects and people that otherwise would be unimaginable. #moedchat
A1 Integrating technology in the classroom is an excellent way of teaching all types of learning styles. Technology can also be a great way of teaching students responsibility. #moedchat
#MOedchat A1 For us at North White (IN), to take our students beyond classroom walls to engage and connect with others. Today, 2nd Grade Ss had a cultural conversation with a school in NYC. Shared Q/As and learned about school in the city v the rural.
A1. Technology allows teachers to integrate multiple perspectives on topics as one way to meet the needs of diverse learners. This can happen through videos, DIY activities, case studies, etc. #MOedchat
A2b Our Ss will also be coming up in a tech laden world where they proficiency with technology will make them prepared for the kinds of jobs that will exist when they are ready to enter the workforce. Trying to avoid being buzzy with "future ready"... #moedchat
A1: There are lots of purposes for tech in classroom but for me, it’s a way to increase student communication, collaboration, creativity and critical thinking. It is most beneficial when it is enveloped in good pedagogy #moedchat
Good evening #moedchat. Kyle Stern here. I’m a 9th grade ELA teacher at @jcharmonhigh in KCK. It’s been a “minute” since I’ve joined in for this chat but I’m excited to learn from you all tonight!
A1: technology in the classroom should enrich the learning experiences. It should connect us to people (authentic audiences) outside of the classroom& provide experiences (virtual field trips) that would be cost prohibitive and increase collaboration and S’s thinking. #MOedchat
The purpose in my 1st grade classroom is to keep my students engaged and give them opportunities to show how they learn best by giving them options! The benefits are endless! I couldn’t and will not ever teach at a school without innovative technology. #MOedchat
A1: The purpose of using technology in the classroom is to connect with the students through different learning styles. Technology makes it more meaningful and fun for students. It also creates an interaction between students, teachers, and parents. #moedchat
#MOedchat A1 We have taken our Ss to Russia, Canada, France, Israel and Sweden this year. Go to Denmark tomorrow. Learning geography skills to find where they are and then share culture ideals at the end.
A2a Use: MacBooks, Chromebooks, iPads to access G-Suite for office tools, research, collaboration & sharing; Google Drawing for digital design; iMovie & LEGO Movie Maker for digital storytelling; Tinkercad for 3D print; https://t.co/9lUj3LHe37 & Scratch for coding #moedchat
A1. The purpose in my 1st grade classroom is to keep my students engaged and give them opportunities to show how they learn best by giving them options! The benefits are endless! I couldn’t and will not ever teach at a school without innovative technology. #MOedchat
A1 - Tech in the classrooms let students see that learning goes well beyond the four walls of their school. It helps students expand their horizons. #moedchat
A1: Tech takes students from future Jeopardy champions...to consumers of information...and it's our job to make them creators and makers who make new solutions to help our global community. #moedchat
Q1: technology has a large benefit in the classroom. It allows educators to often teach in a more hands own way. For example, students have tablets to play educational games. #moedchat
A2: GSuite EDU is my go to. I love Classroom for constant contact, updates, and feedback. I love slides for SO MANY REASONS, and Google Drawing for creativity. Just used it for #mathsnaps this past week. #MOedchat
A2:Tools I currently use-@penpalschools@duolingo@belouga I use these tools to help the students get a base understanding of language and interact with people from cultures all over the world. #moedchat
A2: Using https://t.co/KPCFgsN0xj with my own kids at home for some fun learning and building of projects #moedchat Seriously such an amazing open-ended platform. #coding
A1: I remember learning MS Frontpage in 1999. Completely useless. But I learned how to learn. I learned the basics to springboard. I hope Ss learn how to utilize tech basics bc it may be obsolete. But the prob solving skills will not be #MOedchat
A2 as a Principal I’m using a lot of basic google apps but walking around our building on any given day I could see 3 or 4 new programs being used a week. #moedchat
A2 We have Chromebooks or BYOD for all students in grades 5-8. They are used for creation, collaboration, writing assignments, and online Math and Science curricula. #moedchat
A2: I have used kahoot in several of my classes to study and for preassessments. I also have used team shaker which is an app to scramble teams in physical education that way the teams are fair. #moedchat
A2 My go to tool right now is Clips! I love that students of all ages can create a video to share their learning and personalize it with out major video editing hurdles to jump through. I also really like using Padlet to give all students a voice in a class discussion. #moedchat
A2. Plickers is a unique technology piece that can be operated through a teacher’s phone. This enables students to take quizzes, surveys, attendance and more through the simple act of holding up the card assigned to their name. #MOedchat
Great example. The tech we use today WILL become obsolete...but if we teach students how to use technology -- that's transferable to anything. #moedchat
A2: I'm using student blogging through @Seesaw for 3rd/4th graders to respond to literature. The kdg/1st grades video themselves reading. They watch and reflect on their own work. #moedchat#scsdpd
A2: I have used kahoot in several of my classes to study and for preassessments. I also have used team shaker which is an app to scramble teams in physical education that way the teams are fair. #moedchat

A1: Tech takes students from future Jeopardy champions...to consumers of information...and it's our job to make them creators and makers who make new solutions to help our global community. #moedchat
Well said..so true that any of these tools are rad, but any of them can go away at a moments notice. Ss need to know how to learn on any tool #moedchat
A2 I don't focus on tools as much as what my Ss want to accomplish. They want to create? Blog? Make music? Code? Create an animation? Literally dozens of different tools throughout the week. #moedchat
#MOedchat A2 We use Skype/Hangouts & FaceTime to connect with our speakers. We have been fortunate to have history makers share their stories with our students. Makes history relevant and meaningful.
A2 I am working on becoming a Google Certified Educator, so I can use Google Classroom in the future. I have my students use Chromebooks to help track assignements more efficiently. I also use Kahoot and Google Slides. #moedchat
A2: the resources are endless but my two favorite would be Numbers and Clips. I use Numbers to transform my lab write ups to make them interactive. I also us Clips which is used to create short presentations. #moedchat
A2: My students are starting a blog project using @Blogger to explore famous Missourians, Missouri travel destinations, and Missouri historical events #moedchat
A2b: All of the platforms I'm using for "Romeo and Juliet" summaries, vocabulary study, and current issues. I also use the free version of NewsELA. #moedchat
A2: I have used kahoot in several of my classes to study and for preassessments. I also have used team shaker which is an app to scramble teams in physical education that way the teams are fair. #moedchat
Just getting them used to using tech in general. The tech tools these kids will be using as adults are yet to be invented. Don’t want them left in the technological dust! #moedchat
a2 When I am coaching a procedure I use Peardeck, watching Ss work on one monitor & projecting anonymously on the other. "Hey Chris, did you see that negative?" w/o leaving my desk. #moedchat
A2: Wevideo to edit films, Ipad for movie trailers, sphero edu for coding, DoInk for green screen, hobby motors, lego gears, copper tape amd LEDs #MOedchat
A2b - Blogs/Portfolios/YouTube. I have been working a lot with Ss to start documenting their lives and their work. Honestly, the best tool is a place to show off your work. #moedchat
A2: Love to give the shoutout to the powerful Google SITES…under appreciated but ever so rad tool for teachers and students…now its collaboratable LOL #moedchat#BVBlendED
I love @Seesaw. My Ts use it for journaling, reflections, parent contact, and a type of discussion board. There are some fantastic things you can do with @Flipgrid as well. #moedchat
In reply to
@MsLaurenMertz, @Seesaw, @Seesaw, @Flipgrid
A2 - students at Harmon have access to MacBooks. In my class, we use Google Apps on an almost daily basis. Other tools I’ve used this year include @Flipgrid@Mentimeter@GetKahoot@Snapchat and many others. #moedchat
A2: I make videos for parents giving a model of how they can help their child. Had several parents at conferences say how much they appreciate it. Parents want to help their kids, and they just need sone guidance. #moedchat
A2 - GSuite is a must for both staff & students! Also loving @seesaw K-8; Flipgrid is gaining popularity in my district, Zearn for math, GoNoodle for brain breaks, #designthinking & robots & Legos in Makerspace, AppleClassroom, YouTube, MysteryScience, etc #moedchat
A2: I use Google Classroom often as a way to effectively communicate with staff. I also use Clips as a way to cut down on the length and amount of staff meetings #moedchat
I currently use @prezi for presentations that i want to guide the viewer through my presentation. I also use @CanvasLMS@LindenwoodU to easily and constantly check and turn in homework, and recieve handouts and grades #MOedchat
A2 I don't focus on tools as much as what my Ss want to accomplish. They want to create? Blog? Make music? Code? Create an animation? Literally dozens of different tools throughout the week. #moedchat
Our Social Studies Dept is using fake text message as a platform for students to understand events of Alexander Hamilton and Thomas Jefferson. Aaron Burr will pop into the conversation, as well!

Can't make that this time. Is anyone going to NCTM in DC in April? I'm presenting my paper on STEM integration in algebra & would love to meet up. #moedchat
Yeah -- nothing gets my students more burned out on tech than 4 days of Kahoot quizzes. That stuff has its place -- but what are they making? What do you need them to demonstrate? What will they be showing? #moedchat
A2: GSuite EDU is my go to. I love Classroom for constant contact, updates, and feedback. I love slides for SO MANY REASONS, and Google Drawing for creativity. Just used it for #mathsnaps this past week. #MOedchat
A3: On March 3rd my school #Si9gc is hosting our own "showcase" of teachers incorporating a variety of relevant strategies into instruction. It's an edcamp style PD day. Most sessions incorporate tech @mle_val#moedchat
Honestly, I have two go to places. 1. Twitter because there are experts out there that are already using some amazing tools, why not learn from them?! 2. The teachers at my school. I love walking into a room and teachers sharing something new they have discovered! #moedchat
A3: My Twitter PLN is my main source for new tech ideas. My teachers are also awesome at tracking down, trying out and sharing new sites, apps and technology. #moedchat
Good gravy, YES!!! Bloxels can have so much depth to it, I always tell students to figure it out. They usually find what they are looking for on YouTube. #moedchat

A3 I receive most of my resources from teachers that currently instruct me. I have also received resources from teachers that I have worked with in the past during my two practicums. #moedchat
A3: we have an amazing innovation specialist @jenniferlorton who is always there to help and give advice anytime or during PD. I am part of the vanguard team and have attended conferences over the summer @GoshareMo#moedchat
A3. When I'm not on @MOedchat, reading my @ASCD emails, or attending @METCedplus I'm out hunting for better ways to do what I need to do in my classroom #moedchat
100% of our staff are #GSuiteEDU Level 1 certified. That takes us (professionally) and students to a common level of productivity. Opens a lot up for student choice #moedchat
A3: @KCR1SCHOOLS is lucky to have @jenniferlorton who is always looking for a better way of educating our students. Whether it is a new idea or a recycled one, she is always looking for different ways for our staff to improve their instruction practices #MOedchat
BLOG POST CHALLENGE:
Write a blog post this week focusing on your work with technology and social media in the school setting. Then include #MOedchat when you tweet out the link!
A3: Find resources on Twitter, blogs, the Google Trainer Group, networking with other districts, attending Stl ed tech events, friendly phone calls/coffee :) #MOedchat
100% of our staff are #GSuiteEDU Level 1 certified. That takes us (professionally) and students to a common level of productivity. Opens a lot up for student choice #moedchat
Our awesome tech integration specialist @jenniferlorton tells us of many tech tools as well as colleagues and tech coaches throughout our school. Twitter has been a resource for finding good tools too! #moedchat
That is interesting, I’m using my school account and running this through a Raspberry Pi where I can add commands and what not and not participating in Tensor Flow’s voice learning stuff. Does that still violate it? #moedchat

A3: Twitter has helped, and I just Google for the latest in CR Technology. I get ideas and look for platforms that might fuel a good lesson. I ALWAYS look for free platforms first! ToonDoo is a cool free one! #moedchat
Hi, #moedchat! Jennifer from Bolivar - Long time, no chat! I hope to be more involved in the months to come....teaching my preservice Ts all about social media in the classroom/school this week, so great time to jump back in! #SBUniv#edu2823
BLOG POST CHALLENGE:
Write a blog post this week focusing on your work with technology and social media in the school setting. Then include #MOedchat when you tweet out the link!
I learn abt new tech tools from @Twitter, @voxer, @Feedly and from friends/PLN. I experiment with them. If they help kids see/process their world differently or connect kids to the world...it's time for a real project using the tools. #immersion#leadbydoing#moedchat
A3 - This might be a future question but I also help my colleagues get to know about tech tools they can use in their classrooms. I ran “Tech Tuesday” sessions last semester and am getting them started up again soon. #moedchat
A1. I was honestly unsure what I could answer this question with, other than through peers, I @Google new technology tools and multiple websites came up with lists which included reviews and short explanations of the tool. #thinkoutsidethebox#MOedchat
A3 Google+ (I KNOW LOL RIGHT) The groups on there are the absolute best for sharing and wide discussion. Obvi Twitter. The #GoogleCT group as well. Always checking #ETCoaches#GTTribe#TOSAchat#moedchat
A4- my favorite are the ones that take down classroom walls, Google Expeditions, Google Arts and Culture, @PenpalSchools@Belouga_ These tools can take my students to places they have never been #moedchat
A4: My favorite tools to use in the class are kahoot because it is fun and competitive for students to be anamoyms. Social media for students, parents, and teachers to communicate for important class information. #moedchat
I have my preservice Ts create #hyperdocs after evaluating online resources and ways for Ss to collaborate - Can't wait for them to give it a try in a couple of wks! #moedchat#edu2823
A3b: I am an avid reader of books, blogs, and always on the search. Like our Ss, it is important to be creators as well. The more I experiment, the more I learn. #MOedchat
I enjoy using Kahoot. Even though I sometimes over use Kahoot, students always seem to enjoy using it. It is simple to use and makes games in the classroom more enjoyable. #moedchat
A4: I honestly don't know what we'd do without @Google classroom. It's our bellringer, our homework turn in, our place to deliver feedback, I'm forgetting other things.. #moedchat
A3: Twitter PLN and Ss. They are gurus....often for non-academic purposes. Try to lead them to see the light of how the latest ____ can be used for good! #MOedchat
Love it! We just hosted our first ever "Lunch and Learn" in our district this week. It was great to gather more informally while they ate lunch and learn from each other. #moedchat
A4: I use Google Slides for everything! Choose Your Own Adventure, E-Books, Stop Motion videos, interactive “worksheets,” bellringer activities, collaborative calendars, etc. it’s the most versatile tool! #moedchat
My current favorite tools include Google Expedition and Twitter. How else can students go half way around the world in one day, AND I get to share it with the world?? #moedchat
A4: My favorite tools to use in the class are kahoot because it is fun and competitive for students to be anamoyms. Social media for students, parents, and teachers to communicate for important class information. #moedchat
A4: Recently my favorite have been Twitter and the camera. When you have students who say, “are you going to put that on Twitter?” and are excited about learning and what they have accomplished, these two tools have become my favorite lately. #moedchat
I enjoy using Kahoot. Even though I sometimes over use Kahoot, students always seem to enjoy using it. It is simple to use and makes games in the classroom more enjoyable. #moedchat
A4 GOOGLE SLIDES period. If you don't know that Google Slides is the best thing that ever happened for teachers, please let me show you the way. #MOedchat
I've started using #Kahoot in my univ courses w/ preservice Ts to get them onboard with new tools and making learning fun. They love it! #moedchat#edu2823
A4: I use Google Drawings at least 4 times a day for everything. My other fav is Scrible. If you haven’t used scrible, you are missing out. Secondary teachers-A must see! @scrible#moedchat
A4: saw an awesome project from an English teacher at the high school down the road who had students create playlists or CDs for a soundtrack project. I want to do this! @theemilismith#moedchat
Yes, it can, but be choosy. Only follow those folks who can really support your learning. It takes a little time to figure that out, but it's VERY worth it! #moedchat#edu2823
A4: Favorite of all time is iMovie on Mac. iPad is okay with iMovie, but not Mac status. On Chromebook, YouTube because it can deliver so much of infinite knowledge. #moedchat
Google Drawings is so underrated. If you take a few minutes to show Ss how to use it, you can do some amazing things with it. I design ALL my graphics with it. #moedchat
From using our sewing machine, to designing 3D prints using @tinkercad and learning all about @Raspberry_Pi I direct Ss to tutorials on @youtube often. #moedchat
A4 So many favorite tools, if I had to only choose one it would be the iPad itself. Even if you took away all the "extra" apps, the iPad is such a versatile tool! Markup tools, Accessibility features, camera, Notes app. Sometimes simple is more. Build from the basics. #moedchat
Lurked your blog and talking heads and custom graphics are the newest #BadgeU up for grabs. Ss will decide how they can showcase core content learning. #moedchat Power to the Ss!
A4 GOOGLE SLIDES period. If you don't know that Google Slides is the best thing that ever happened for teachers, please let me show you the way. #MOedchat
I have my preservice Ts create #hyperdocs after evaluating online resources and ways for Ss to collaborate - Can't wait for them to give it a try in a couple of wks! #moedchat#edu2823
This has been on the choice board for a few different projects this year in my class, too! I even had one young man who wrote, composed, and recorded 8 original songs (Hip-Hop genre) for a narrative project about family. #mindblown#moedchat
I have Ss do responses on @Flipgrid to resources I've posted. I've also had them do book reviews using it. Such a great way to get nonverbals in the responses that writing can never do #moedchat#edu2823
Right in the middle of doing some CoSpaces dance parties with my 5th graders. Once you start letting the students use the Blockly coding you'll see some amazing things. #MOedchat
A5 I think teachers need to see the tech in use, Ts that already know the power of tech/social media are using it, Ts who are not need to see it, school/educators that use tech need to share the stories and open the doors. #moedchat
Had students create their own graphic organizers comparing elements of the US constitution and the book Animal Farm using google drawings. I love the freedom it allows! #moedchat
Google Drawings is so underrated. If you take a few minutes to show Ss how to use it, you can do some amazing things with it. I design ALL my graphics with it. #moedchat
Yes. I can’t believe when people haven’t used it. I’ve presented on it multiple times and it’s my favorite thing to share with teachers who always want “something more”. #moedchat
A5: Help teachers by modeling an example lesson of new tools. Teachers want to see exactly how they could use it - not spend hours figuring it out on their own! #moedchat
Agree. I'm constantly re-evaluating what I'm doing & my responses don't always keep up with my ideas. I can always find something better...but... #moedchat
A5: Use edtech SUCCESSFULLY as much as we can in order to show the massive amount of good that it can do. The same goes for Social Media, but that is harder to use SUCCESSFULLY in many places due to the culture. #moedchat
A4: Favorite tools have to be @Mentimeter for student & staff feedback, Dotstorming for brainstorming ideas, and the Clips app for reflection and sharing. #moedchat
A5 It starts at the #highered level in #teacherprep programs like #SBUniv!!!! We have to start early with discussions of pros/cons & have plans for addressing issues that can arise #edu2823#moedchat
Yeah -- nothing gets my students more burned out on tech than 4 days of Kahoot quizzes. That stuff has its place -- but what are they making? What do you need them to demonstrate? What will they be showing? #moedchat
A5: Kids are going to be using Tech and Social Media regardless, we MUST show them the ways to use it for postie change. Just look at the #ParklandShooting survivors and the movement they're starting! #moedchat
Q5a: I outright asked my Ss to respond to a Padlet: What are some Teen Issues? From there I went to NewsELA, and found articles on Phones and social media. Folks, Lexiles can be set on NewsELA. It opens the door for discussion. #moedchat
A5 Modeling is important- lots of learning from that example. It’s not necessary to be great at all forms of social media, pick one and be good at it #MOedchat
A5. Model model model. You can’t force change or convince people. Same reason arguing politics on FB changes nothing. Live by example. Show how great tech & social media can be & the 🔥 will spread eventually (just not as fast as you wish) #moedchat
A5 Make it the way we communicate and brand our school and story. Normalize it so much that it cannot be blocked or ignored so that #digcit must be taught #MOedchat
A5 Students will always be using social media outside of the classroom. It is important to become acquainted with all platforms of social media. Teach students to take a more positive approach to social media. #moedchat
A5: I think by modeling how to be responsible with social media to our kids and embrace it ourselves not to be afraid. It is a great tool when used correctly #MOedchat
A5. The education community, i.e. teachers, principals, and counselors are the best to promote appropriate use of technology within our school system. #MOedchat
A5 - just like anything that could make teachers more effective, Tech tools need to be presented in a way that helps teachers to see the impact it will make for them personally, not just how it’s “supposed” to work. #moedchat
A5. Model model model. You can’t force change or convince people. Same reason arguing politics on FB changes nothing. Live by example. Show how great tech & social media can be & the 🔥 will spread eventually (just not as fast as you wish) #moedchat
#MOedchat A5: In class today, we traced the "I bought an AR-15 in 5 min" story from inception, to popular re-tweet, to a young man stating it to the President yesterday as fact. And then we fact checked it..and saw it was completely bogus. Ss saw how easy it was to believe a lie.
A6: Since I am not live this Q is difficult, I will read over the chat later and give my answer tomorrow. Have a great evening #MoEdChat hope to see some of you tomorrow!
A4: I use Google Drawings at least 4 times a day for everything. My other fav is Scrible. If you haven’t used scrible, you are missing out. Secondary teachers-A must see! @scrible#moedchat
A6: Honestly I'm behind. I'm a firm believer in implementing well what we know and then moving on to implement new. And, I've not implemented everything I know yet as well as I need to before adding more. #moedchat
Hi Lauren! I too like @AdobeSpark b/c I can create a graphic and then flip through a TON of different designs using my same content--produced by Adobe; designs I LIKE but wouldn't have thought to try. @canva, too! I use WordSwag and Typorama apps for quick images w/text #moedchat
Very easy to learn, Debbie! My biggest obstacle is shy teenagers who don’t want to record themselves during class or the “performers” who want to put on a show in their videos and end up disrupting others. Oh well, the challenges keep me grounded, I suppose #MOedchat
Have a great Friday and weekend, Anna!! Please share tweets, ideas, questions to #moedchat hashtag 24/7. Anything you think would benefit us all! Cheers!
A6: I really liked the myplate idea from @ammpkb i learned that it is new and something that can be incorporated into a physical education class. #moedchat
A6: This isn’t something I will implement in the classroom setting, but moving forward I will continue to engage in #moedchat. This is my first experience with #moedchat and have enjoyed it.
@Flipgrid is amazing. I've been using it for about a year now. It's great for students to demonstrate their learning. It also allows them do-overs until they are happy. I highly recommend. #moedchat
Hi Debbie!! 👋 We're here for you when you need us! There are lots of great resources at https://t.co/rz1BZy1WeU and we would love to recommend a mini-webinar. What do you teach?
Yes, those obstacles are there. Recently, a junior high teacher had his record at home. They discussed attributes and themes from a literature series they had been reading. It was very good. #moedchat
I've used it this year to get feedback from a class we partnered with. My Ss created Choose Your Own Adventure stories and the other class read them then left @Flipgrid feedback. Way more personal and meaningful. #MOedchat

Thanks! I feel like all of our administrators, you, @AlexVanDelft, @nkgoodwin73, and @Superturg are very supportive of new ideas. Not to mention the teachers in the district that come up with new, innovative ideas to try! #kcr1tweets#moedchat

A6: This isn’t something I will implement in the classroom setting, but moving forward I will continue to engage in #moedchat. This is my first experience with #moedchat and have enjoyed it.
Looks like we will be creating a @Flipgrid and sharing it on #moedchat ...then you can find it (on #moedchat), see what it's like, ask questions, try it yourself! (Always the best way, but can be scary, I know. We are a PLN which means EdFamily--therefore safe to try here)
