    Sometimes I feel like we have so much at our disposal that we can get bogged down by choices. That's why I try to focus on what's going to help me create time for me work with my students. Efficiency all day. 365 is great for it. #FCSVanguard

    A1: For me I feel like engagement and efficiency are my top 2. You can be efficient with grading, feedback, flexible grouping and differentiation. By giving the kids what they need they are able to be more engaged because it makes sense to them #fcsvanguard

    A2 I would rate the use of 365 in my school low. Our 5th graders used SWAY to present their digital portfolio to their parents. Other than that, I don't believe many others use it beyond email. #FCSVanguard

    A2 Technology is used across the building, but we are a Google school so 365 isn't used as much. I think 365 and Google can be used together! #FCSVanguard

    A2: I don't feel like 365 is utilized in the classroom setting as much as it could be. Teachers definitely utilize it for PLC and planning, but the kids aren't as active with it. #fcsvanguard

    A2: It varies on the grade level. Older grades utilize it more than younger I think. Our fifth grade classes use their accounts almost on a daily basis! #fcsvanguard

    A1. The best function of tech in my classroom? It’s not the assessments, progress monitoring, or even engagement. We can do all that without tech. To me, it’s all about connecting with people beyond our classroom and empowering students with a real voice/audience. #FCSVanguard

    Q2 - #FCSVanguard - I use OneNote on a daily basis for my fifth grade students. I have gone to the copier about 6 times this entire school year. We use Forms for numerous assessments. The students use the other apps to produce products etc.

    #fcsvanguard that’s great! numbers are going to vary from school to school and we shouldn’t compare. Why? Because we have staff and schools at different places. Some places/Ts/leaders may need to focus on core instruction.

    At Cambridge HS teachers are required to use a classroom management system but are able to pick what system works for them. Google is still used more. However, with the Surfaces teachers & students have started utilizing apps like One Note. #fcsvanguard

    #FCSVanguard A3 - I am the SME for OneNote for my school. I led a class on this with my peers. Peers in the upper grades have adopted this program. I share my “lead notebook” with my teammates for collaboration.

    A4: The layout of Word and PPT are a little bit different and even for myself I just prefer to use it on my computer rather than logging in through 365. I always have my kids work in 365 though since it auto-saves and they can share their finished product with me. #fcsvanguard

    We have each T set with their own page for our feedback forms after visits. The content library houses our PLC info, and the collaborating space is used during PLCs or MLCs for note taking / sharing! #AMAZING! #AllInOne #fcsvanguard

    #FCSVanguard - To use it, you really need to jump in head first. Some people are not ready for it. It completely transformed the way material is sent and received. I do not have to worry about students not having work when they are out.

    OneNote is my favorite! I use it for school notes and also grad school! I love how I can combine digital tools w/ the ability to write with the Apple pen or surface pen to highlight & draw key points. Imagine what a MS & HS S could do w/ that power? #fcsvanguard

    A6: Over last summer, I went through the MIE certification at home. When I tried to use, OneNote, I got confused when I started creating classes, etc. #fcsvanguard

    A6: Personally, I love it. I use the desktop version for professional and personal uses ALL THE TIME. Online version is meh. Desktop version is great. I wish it was a little more user friendly, but it does what I need/want for the most part. #fcsvanguard

    There are some barriers, the author of the onenotes transferred Schools & the grade level lost all of their files. This may be rare but knowing this made ppl a skeptical. Also sometimes when we are collaboratively working everyone’s work doesn’t save its overwrites #fcsvanguard

    I like OneNote and have used it for some personal and school applications. Once we got Surfaces, a lot of our students started using it because the stylus is so cool to use! I mean, it helps them be organized. #fcsvanguard

    I have use the 365 forms to creat surveys, quizzes, and for our writing Wednesday with problem solving. I created the question, attached the teachers name & students were able to access, answer, & I received results on how each student responded #FCSVanguard

    When collaboration in One Note I typically set up groups and assign students to work in their group. It does not always work as I would like. Overlapping and deleted work. Hard to tell it a students is deleting it or what??#FCSVanguard

    Just make a quiz in Forms, go to where it says share, copy the link and paste it on the page you want in OneNote. It'll show up and they can take it in OneNote! You can distribute it from there to any class, group or student you want! #FCSVanguard

    We find that when taking leadership notes that we have one person take the notes in OneNote. I can see having to tackle this issue w/ Ss. In ES we use Google for collaborative writing. However, it is nice having access on all devices & in one “notebook”. #fcsvanguard

    I have definitely used Teams. One of my kiddos from last year set up his own team with me and some of his buddies in it at the beginning of the year to keep up with each other since they weren’t in my class anymore. I just wonder could they create a team without me? #FCSVanguard

    We do that as well in our leadership meetings. Our CST @crysricks does such a great job at taking notes & share them out to us. We experience the most struggles when working on team projects. #FCSVanguard
