A5-Yes, even though my growth mindset gets my mind overloaded with new things I want to try! I share with my Ss that we are trying new things, that it makes me nervous, excited. I share what I'm learning and working on. #OrEdChat#bethewildcard
A5: I am constantly taking classes and addressing my weaknesses. Self reflection is key. Growth mindset is modeled and discussed. I still have kids who are in fixed mindset. We are one piece of their ever evolving puzzle. Confidence in Growth. #OREdChat
Yeah. I don't like it. We had a meeting about it with my class that had the worst report. I'm presenting at a tech conf Tues/Wed this week, so we needed to all be on the same page regarding subs. #OrEdChat
✨A5: Always modeling a growth mindset by taking risks, trying new things, and challenging myself! Sometimes things are an epic fail, but that’s okay, it’s perfect! I love getting help from my students in formulating plan b, c, d, etc.! ✨

A5: I am the product of YET! I didn't know that I couldn't, so I did. I let my student know when I learn something new, which is almost everyday. They also need to know that I wasn't the smartest person in my class while growing up. #BeTheWildCard#OREdChat
HS Ss are the same. They want a worksheet and a MC test because that is easier and is one and done. I get pushback a lot, but others love my craziness. :) #OrEdChat
A5: Absolutely, I’d like to think so! I make teacher evaluation questionnaires on Google Forms every quarter. It helps me validate how I feel our class culture is going and growth mindset is a huge part of that. #OrEdChat
A4: Relationships are #1 priority for me. I try to form some type of connection w/ each student. Everyone’s need is different & I try to learn as much as I can about all of them both inside & outside of school. I want them to trust me and know that I care about them. 💜 #OrEdChat
