A1: mostly adults bc I work w/Ts but also k-12 Ss, not fan of ancient history so I it when possible

A2: When I taught Ancient History I touched on Egypt, India, Greece, China, Rome etc..

I did a lot of greenscreen projects, Fakebook, Travel guides and, map making

A3: I augmented maps on my wall, we watched video clips, tried to look at primary sources.

A3: discuss antiquated technology compared to current

I did that. My Ss loved comparing the ancient technology to current technology.

met with a class computer Ss and I introduced a floppy disk... Life before a cloud

I use to show all of the different ways to save content. Ss eyes get very large.

I even showed them pictures of the 1st computer. They can't believe how big it was and what it could do.

A5: I had Ss create Newspapers, Green-Screen projects, Flyers, News Reports, Travel Guides, Maps, and so much more

It was. I wish I still taught that class. Things are still changing ... Got to love tech!

A6: My Ss really loved the advertisement part. They created ads for Ancient Egyptian Toothpaste

They also made ads for shops that might have been in operation during ancient Greece.

I liked doing projects with my Ss rather than tests. I hate tests. I would rather have Ss show me what they learned.
-
If they can show me and explain then I know without a doubt what they learned. It is also how I teach tech skills.
