A1: I don't have these in my classroom, but I am really intrigued by learning more about @Raspberry_Pi and how it can be used across curriculum #nvedchat

R1: there are so many different tech tools that I want to learn more about. Mostly, I wanna learn to code and use in my class because it is vital to our #NowReady and #FutureReady skills for Ss. #NVedchat
A1-Any assessment tool...so that I could figure out a way to make it more relevant and engaging for students instead of just a memorization thing. #NVedchat
A1. I honestly know a lot about the tech I have. I could know it better. My iPad and Apple TV are my primary tech devices. But the Ss use chrome books. So there are some compatibility issues. #NVedChat
R1) a smartboard. I’m sure somedayill eventually have 1, but I have no idea what they can do. (Currently have chalkboards, screen, projector, doc camera) #NVedchat
My homegirls @EdTechAri and @MsHaughs preach the gospel on them all day every day, I need to take advantage of their love and knowledge of the @Raspberry_Pi#nvedchat

A2: Twitter! If I never went to another conference or training again, I am confident I would still grow as an educator because of the great ideas from my amazing #PLN#nvedchat
A2: Not a piece of tech but a mindset towards tech. Too many Ts think online learning or tech is about quicker grading rather than as a tool to deepen learning #NVedchat
Twitter. Within the classroom, tech is so diversified b/c Ss bring their own sometimes. It seems irresponsible to make everyone do the same thing. But Ts can learn a lot from joining twitter chats. #NVedchat
hi @BonanzaFire and #nvedchat folks! I'm Sara, a K teacher in Lake Tahoe, NV. I get to play around with an Apple pencil in my classroom this week and know nothing!! Anyone out there with recommendations?
For those of you who haven't experienced Google hangout DO IT! virtual field trips, webcam meetings, classroom to classroom projects.. list goes on and on... even #NVedchat could happen in a way with google hangout
A2-How about this... "Prompt" responsiveness and usage of any technology for their content area they have access to for the students. The T in sTudenTs stand for Technology and its in their Twice! #NVedchat
Q3: With Gmail being the educational email of choice, what is 1 tip to help/save other educators they may not know about in gmail? Ex: Did you know you can set unsend settings for gmail in settings?!? #NVedchat
A2: I wish Learning Management Systems, like Google Classroom and Canvas, would be used more. These systems are time saving, collaborative and a game changer #NVedchat
#NVedchat Lucas Leavitt...Jumping on late. A2: I just want teachers to start using tech for more than substitution methods. There are tons of #edtech tools out there like @Flipgrid@cospaces_edu and others, but we need to move away from substitution methods!

A3: Hah, I'm not sure anymore. Gmail is getting a redesign and I am going to have to learn the new features before I can respond to this Q :) #NVedchat
A3: I am a huge fan of the Boomerang extension that allows you to schedule emails, or resend those gentle reminders if you don't get a response the first time around #nvedchat

I absolutely agree, but like @LucasLeavitt said, sometimes with things like Canvas and Google Classroom, they are glorified digital worksheet machines, need to assist teachers in taking it to different levels #nvedchat

A2 I wish more teachers at my school were using #GoogleClassroom It is really helpful, I know some schools are using it school wide, I think it would be great if more teacher were comfortable collaborating with #GSuiteEDU#NVedChat
There are so many ways that you can hit on all of the levels of SAM-R with little effort. Sometimes it’s just having a convo in the hall that gives you a new idea. #NVedchat

A3: Using the filter settings combined with labels to organize emails in a more efficient way (i.e organize emails in a PLC group or a department) #NVedchat

A4: Not necessarily a single website, but sometimes some of those clickbait things are fun, just have to take the information with a grain of salt #nvedchat

You can create some super cool #PBL activities in @CanvasLMS and establish mastery levels of content before advancing on. Would love to show you my madness with this sometime. #NVedchat

Hi everyone! Remember at the beginning of the year I introduced the green screen to my Ss, well the results are marvelous. The @DoInkTweets app made it simple. #nvedchat
I agree! Using LMS can help with DOK Levels 1 and 2, and it gives time to reach Levels 3 and 4 in class. Using LMS must combine the best of online learning with the best of in person instruction #NVedchat
Try using Tech in your own kids life. Im off to read "Ernie's Wish Trail" to my 2 year old princess! It is an Augmented Reality childrens book. Using AR in books will make kids fall even more in love with reading. #NVedchat
I completely agree. It shouldn’t be a worksheet holder. If that’s what we, as educators, are using great things like @CanvasLMS and @googleclassroom for, we are doing a disservice to our Ss. #NVedchat

A4 using @SwiftPlayground to play & learn, my son thought it looked fun enough to try, also @sphero my son also decided that was cool after he used it in school this year #NVedChat
