A1: knowing more of what to do in my role and having my PLN to help me every step of the way!
I have a hard time starting the convo with teachers, don't want it to seem evaluative. I'm a work in progress
we eliminated PD days in lieu of an extra 64 minutes of contract time each week, excited to see how it works
It's on my list of "things to figure out" tomorrow!! Lol. Not sure yet. Tough with 9 campuses & 4.5 days per week.

Welcome Monta!! It's never too late to join =)
Ahh shucks...you're just being you...you know sweet and amazing (:
You’re going to be awesome Jody Green! You always are.
A2: model excellent classroom teaching in every PD. If we expect it from Ts,then expect it of ourselves.
I definitely need to be more proactive!
so excited! Lots of new things to share. There will be multiple blog posts about it this year
HELLO friend!!! Glad you're here!
Scheduling is not my forte. I'll keep you in the loop, though! :)
A2 use SS reflection,my notes, do more. Give more opps Ss choose,
A2- we're switching 2 all new ela curriculum so most of what I'm doing is starting from scratch & it's for independent study

Well..it's kinda the way w/so many amazing folks and so much love...just gotta get it out there
A2: "Be the best me I can be." Learned that from Kung Fu Panda 3 this summer. Make that last all year. Follow less, lead more.
Student voice and student choice is really IMPT! https://t.co/TjOBjb4nfd
A2 use SS reflection,my notes, do more. Give more opps Ss choose,
This was done to create more planning, collaboration time?
It is a difficult thing to do, but I feel that it is more the personality and attitude conveyed than the job title.
same here. That smoother, initial transition makes all the difference.
T told me they had a million ?s, my reply was i have 500K answers and 500K learning opps
might need to make myself some sort of chore chart to help remind me to just do it
A2: As a new Tech TOSA, my goals are to listen to understand, be proactive to Ts needs, & connect to others. Relationships are key
Oh you for SURE will do that!
YES, the feedback. Asking for it and doing something with it. That's big.
Don't know the adopt a teacher poster? Do tell.... Was that the session I missed?
A1 (continued): Piloting new ELA textbooks!!!
agreed, Andrea. totally agreed.
plus I feel so less stressed
More for that and to eliminate wasted PD days that most Ts didn't get anything from
Want to meet up at Disneyland? Half marathon weekend coming up. :)
You will be great! Can't wait to start picking your brain!
YEs! Maybe this could be a future topic.
Yep. I'll show you tweetdeck tomorrow
Trying to figure that out 2. Made a chart to mark which sites I go too. Don't want to miss any.
Yeah, I did too! Having Ts submit goals on a GDoc helps me keep focused and plan just-in-time coaching.
So far so good! between that and planning out fall conference, I haven't had a dull moment
Thank you! Can't wait to work with you, you're amazing!
If excellent teaching is a culture, then it should be business as usual.
It has been so great to run into everyone at different places. I always feel like I won something when I see you guys!!!
Yeah, we can't wait for them to come to us b/c that's not likely. Break down those walls! :)
Join in the fun, we're kicking off 2016-2017 school year this Friday. All about sharing the +s https://t.co/EBZGzu1k3t
A2: I want to celebrate more of the classroom wins. Like that shy teacher that is killin it with their Ss yet would never post!
A2) I'm looking forward to entering the world of podcasting! Creating - not just listening
Having an established rapport with most students, teachers, and staff is huge will be huge.
Trying to make the relationships in a new place is important...Finally after 2 years I don't feel like the new guy. @EdTechSpec

Cyclical process of excitement - Just more innovation going on!!

A2: Last year = waiting for teachers to seek me out. This first month is about face time with as many people/sites as possible
A3: I'll be going to each of my new ts rooms the first few weeks to check in on them. Want to make sure they're on track!
A3: Ask new Ts what THEY want to do I'm not one for forcing my ideas on anyone unless specifically told to https://t.co/kwtP8MY6kQ
love this and think it's so important
Every time I ask, it's been very positive. Not sure what's holding me back
I would loop you into any conversation you want to be part of. :)

I've had a few tough things go down since the beginning of the year, and having lovely, positive voices in my car=<3
That's why support is so imp. They're idealists, haven't been jaded & spent a year studying the craft of teaching.
