A1 my favorite web-based tool is obviously I use it for any content area

I just recently discovered yellowdig, a great online discussion board tool designed like a social network site.
Students are always excited for Kahoot! Very useful

For MS, I loved having students use PowToon to create video infographics. Need computers though, no tablets

I am a Behavioral Interventionist and not a certified teacher yet. Have not used webtools in the classroom officially.
A1: has been extremely useful in my math classes! Ss are able to experiment with graphs easily.

Q2. What are your favorite Apps to enhance student learning? (Google Play, Apple etc)
I teach 4th & 5th. We use as an exit ticket, lab reflection, and to collaborate on ideas for projects.
When teaching MS I loved using Google Classroom and Google apps. So easy for students to use and so versatile!
A2) One of my favorite apps is Explain Everything. It is so flexible and powerful.

A1 -Google forms and are so easy to use with kids. Even a novice can get great feedback with a short learning curve.

A2: Charades app I used like heads up game. It was great to review vocab. ss had to give the defn to the student guessing

Also loved using Toontastic. Students can create animated stories! Great for demonstrating a story arc!

I try to focus on the free apps as much as possible, sometimes you can't avoid paying though.

I’ve never heard of it but it sounds interesting!
check out this AR Bball App-it allows u to play AR bball. It can be used in math & science for teaching graphing skills.
A3) Most of the times, I get ideas from my PLN and from chats. Sometimes they come from blogs too
What are some apps that you use often that are not free?
A3 tweeps on twitter and perusing the App Store and google play store

A3: I have learned so much from my PLN and Twitter! So many ideas I can use the next day!
-get ideas love students becoming citizen scientists and helping with science research on a global scale
A3: checking on a weekly basis is my go to.
Q4. What is your favorite device/tool for the classroom?
A4) We really love our chromebooks. Have a few iPads too.
So many things you can do within Google Apps.
A4: Recyclables. Let the kids create and make and then use any tech tool of their choice to tell a story of the creation.
A4: I’m loving since it’s gives instead feedback for teachers.

A4. Mix of devices so students can be device agnostic and chose what they want to use but iPads, Chromebooks are my favorite.

saw a lesson where kids had to use drones to pollinate flowers since honeybee population was falling, kids had to build devices
