A5: I think I need to work on this. But with the kids, I always try to make an active comment on whatever they share.
A5 The key is to prove you listened by specifically referring to what a S said previously: 1 min ago, 10 mins or 2 days ago

A8: Comedy is essential. When it comes, which is often, we give it a big comfy chair to sit in so it can stay awhile!!!
