A1: My one word is fully, completely, based off a song by the same name, and while the song is more about a breakup, I feel that the words describe how you should approach life on the daily #teachnvchat
A1 I chose “commit” to remind myself to commit to the task, to continued learning, to be a better teacher, and to keep on trying to be a better 🏊♀️, ⛷ and hiker. #teachnvchat
We do a "Balanced Calendar" with most schools in Indiana. We start at the beginning of August (sometimes the last couple days in July). We get a 1 to 2 wk break at the end of first quarter. Some have a 1 wk break and another at Thanksgiving. 1/2 #TeachNVChat

great choice-when we open up to opportunities as they present then we encounter tons of learning along the way-great thing to model for kids #teachnvchat
Then 2 wks for winter break. 3rd quarter with regular days off with a 2 wk spring break. 4th quarter to the end. We are done next Thursday. 2/2 #TeachNVChat

A2: To prepare for my move to Reno, I'm making myself more marketable by starting a special ed degree program, even though I could have put it off a bit and just taken a couple of classes, may as well get the degree! That's fully completely in my opinion! #teachnvchat
A2 my summer looks amazing because my #oneword2018#possibility allowed me to take risks, join in, travel, learn, explore and freedom to just be OK with my choices #teachNVchat

A2 it reminds me to focus on my craft, what do I bring to the classroom, what can I encourage and inspire the kids to do. Saying that, it’s been a long hard week, subbing a different class each day. But there were major high spots too!! #teachnvchat
A2 I chose my word a couple months into the year - Smile. It's definitely helped me regain positivity when it temporarily escapes me and also to be more courageous when talking with parents. #teachnvchat

A3: We are finished, but I am looking forward to knocking out a nice chunk of my master's program in the next couple of months before my new adventure starts, so much that I am excited for! #teachnvchat#fullycompletely

I'm teaching #AP Physics this fall and I have to do a lot of prep work over the summer, reach out to my Ss, and be ready to hit the ground running in August. #teachnvchat

If you can get to an AP conference, do it! I've never been to the College Board one, but my district does an AP boot camp in the summer that is usually great. One year, the instructor was terrible, and at 8 hours a day for 4 days, it was brutal #teachnvchat
