A1: Having the constant lens of support, assist, encourage, create possibility. That's what first comes to mind.

-
Yay! Everyone came out to play tonight!

-
A1 A mindset that focuses on developing a culture of trust by helping and encouraging others to grow and serve others themselves.

-
A1. Always considering the needs of others

-
A1: I really do think that my job is making the T's job simpler so they can be incredible for the kids.

-
A1: to me, it is giving & doing for others what I can to take away from their plates & make jobs easier.

-
We are present to serve our stakeholders. To provide resources to help others achieve success

-
May not always SEEM that way to the T's... https://t.co/K6dGL48wEw

Glad to see so many of the team here tonight.

-
A1- Helping and leading others, but putting their needs first.

-
A1. It's something as small as making a cup of coffee and taking it to them so they have time to use the restroom before class!!

-
A1 serving those around you so they are able to give more- thus improving the group in all aspects!

-
Hey ! I look forward to seeing you in Louisville Wednesday!

-
That is the hard part bc sometime we know we are helping but it may seem to others that we are not.

-
a1: I always strive to support, encourage,& allow Ts to teach as the professionals they are. No micromanagement at MMS

-
Definitely. I know sometimes the tough work seems like I'm off track...but I'm really thinking of them.

-
Q1b What are some attributes of a servant leader?

-
so glad you joined us tonight!

-
A1b: LISTENER. You can't serve if you don't know what the group needs. Listen first, act second.

-

-
A1b: Observe, acknowledge, validate, support.

-

-
I believe Listening is first and foremost for a servant leader.

-
A2: In order, I'd say students, teachers (often simultaneously), parents, classified staff.

-
A2 Listens first, encourager, provides surprise and delight, celebrates those around them, worker bee!

-
A1b. Observant. Sometimes in order to serve you have to watch and see what others need

-
This time last year I didn't know which habit was which number. Now I'm connecting to EVERYTHING! https://t.co/x2qfOKWDS7

-
a SL gives time & support. Empathetic, a listener, loving, wise, allows failures for improvement & works through it to be better

-

-
A1. We have a culture of servant leadership in our school.Teachers look for ways to meet needs, students do the same. Very caring.

-
A1b-intuitive you have to sometimes "know" what they need because they don't always ask for help.

-
A2 Teachers-it has opened a willingness to change bc they have learned to trust from my eagerness to serve them first.

-

-
Don't you all think you really need to know their love language too? To serve them well, you need to know how they like 2b served.

-
Well said. https://t.co/xPdH8LYlKe

Q2. I like serving my students. The relationships make a difference in attitude, willingness and behaviors.

-
A2 that's the hard part of the job- I think they are simultaneous- BUT I serve Ts who then can serve Ss - but community is key!

-
had to learn to do this in my early years of admin but is & has been a huge growth as I learned to LISTEN.important

-
I had a hard time with that too. I devote more of my energy to T's...but it's for the S's. https://t.co/vVfmUjxp5Y

-
wow wow wow. Love it. Do you do a love language survey with your staff?

-
A.2 Our students need...love. When we serve them, meet their needs, it speaks volumes to parents. Then, we meet teacher needs.

-
We did it in a Booster this year for . We need to be more purposeful with it though. https://t.co/Srwf9ic3qq

-

-
for sure. Serve many by serving a few.

-
that's my philosophy too. If I serve the Ts I hope they will serve the Ss

-
The T's that participated have love language magnets by their doors. https://t.co/R0CEgJnyUN

Totally agree with you all. Build into the staff so they in turn build into the Ss.

-
A3: I am not who I was 12 years ago when I started this admin gig. I learned to focus more on building people than test scores.

-
my role is to serve teachers & staff first, then students, parents & community. If I do my part for the T & staff, it should cause

-
A3: I don't know if the staff can see a difference, but I know I've changed. Another reason we chose . To build people.

-
A3 Listening not telling is the key to building a culture of trust. By listening to others they will listen to me. Listen First!!!

-
it should cause a positive chain reaction for all. My thoughts only!

-
Q. 3 Serving others helps me understand people. Opens my eyes to needs. Helps me listen and know how to serve. Helps me grow.

-
Serving others as a leader helps me build empathy and perspective

-
A3: Giving and building up is FAR more rewarding that receiving praise or validation. Practice it and it will become contagious.

-
Growth is the first outcome of SL. If you don't see growth then something is off.

-
Definitely. And listen to understand, not to reply. I have to remind myself sometimes. https://t.co/p7nQUfeWis

A4 Our Leader in Me student leadership jobs focus of serving others first. Morning mentors help others with homework and reading

-
A4: We are heavy on service in our building. Some serv. lrn. Some just plain service. Our motto is Learn. Lead. IMPACT.

-
I have heard from many who miss me. I have already decided I need to stop & ask if there were any changes they LIKED while I have

-
have been out. We may make some changes. Change is good from time to time!

-
A4: We all believe that it's important for our kids to see their impact locally and globally.

-
That's part of what makes you such an incredible leader. Selfless, humble, and focused on people. https://t.co/zcWel8xkGr

-
All attributes of a great SL.

-
MMS students have service learn projects throughout the year. Very important life skill

-
A4. So many of our Ss at Lakewood have begun passion projects that serve others as part of STLP or genius hour
