A2: I LOVE my doc cam. Can share Std writing in real-time. Very motivating!
Love the Osmo and the Ss do as well.
Tech as a "Substitute" for old pedagogy won't create different results. Make Ss creators of learning https://t.co/bz0O8L7IaF

Question 3 Lets talk about shifting mindsets & seeing how we can empower Ts to use more Tech https://t.co/wDUo6jk9kC
A2 for ELA, OSMO for word Study-no more glue/scissors, iMovie for book trailers, KidBlog for Genius Hr., Math-mathforum, coding
an app/prog. u upload pp into you control students screens and add in survey's quizzes, pull up s word etc.
Also one of my favorite tools - used it in Faculty meetings when I was Principal; use it in PD now. https://t.co/OzgRZPhIb9
Q2 Additionally, I'm in love with nearpod...it's amazing!!!
Agreed FYI next gen Projectors will let you manipulate light on desk surfaces https://t.co/MfcJS0eFoi
A2: love my Promethean board! I forget how to teach without it! 🤔
A3: have to show why tech is important/beneficial. Also, Ts need to feel comfortable using tech...
A2: Intuitiveness is essential in any tech tool so that tech doesn’t become the focus
A3: Allow teachers the choice to pick their own PD for tech. Then provide a safe space for them to implement and take risks
A3 help Ts start small. Doesn’t have to be a huge change
A3: start by showing them how to use tech for their own productivity. Give them a chance to get comfy. https://t.co/eK2YF2Wfe8
Question 3 Lets talk about shifting mindsets & seeing how we can empower Ts to use more Tech https://t.co/wDUo6jk9kC

A3 cont: coteaching a few lessons with tech could ease some anxieties over incorporating new tech in the classroom
A3: Figure out why the hesitation and then provide a solution to a current problem. Value add normally helps someone reluctant.
Shifting mindset comes from shifting thinking...modeling is a great way to bring on hesitant T's, build their awareness
Perfect way to use is for word study! Great resources.
A3: Well planned implementations that come from the program, operational, financial working together toward a shared vision
, a3 give Ts time to explore and share ideas, have some Ts take the lead and share success with others, incorporate tech in PD.
A3: Make sure they know it's OK to fail - in fact, they can model how to deal w/it for their Ss. Ts don't have to know it all.
A3: Have a clear plan with benchmarks. i.e. By next week add 2 items to your reminders list. Keep building from there.
We love LiveBinders - all school information is housed there and docs that need to sustain over time.
Goodnight ! Thanks for letting me hang out!
so important to have Ts share what they are doing to build capacity https://t.co/khIPZFStJX
, a3 give Ts time to explore and share ideas, have some Ts take the lead and share success with others, incorporate tech in PD.
Choice is so important! https://t.co/Rp5DZfTSLJ
A3: Allow teachers the choice to pick their own PD for tech. Then provide a safe space for them to implement and take risks
A3: It is also important that admin are modeling, and they have other T leaders model for staff!
This is important. We will be hosting some more PLAYDATES across NV to allow Ts to take risks. https://t.co/JPM93QOgxf
A3: Allow teachers the choice to pick their own PD for tech. Then provide a safe space for them to implement and take risks
thanks! all about the edcamp movement and teacher driven PD. We are lead learners just like our students!
A3: Must uncover T's root of resistance. Also, if classroom culture lacks 2-way trust, Ts will never believe Ss are on task.
I'd love to hear more bc I tried in 's class and it was mostly a fail. I'm happy to keep trying!
A3: Make it fun! If you wouldn't sit through your own PD, go back and rework it.
I'd counter appropriately planned tech enhancing curriculum requires planning
I feel like I have so many new app ideas to try in my classroom!! Thanks everyone! Love the
A3 I encourage Ts to assess their Ss tech savvy & go from there bc Ss can be experts too. I learned canva from them 😂
