Is that Kim, the Kim I used to work with ?
I learned how to GHO through our collaboration👍🏼Every activity if it's a learning opportunity is valuable!
My first Twitter chat and I definitely need practice!
I am in a super small school, so twitter has been my savior
participate in chats, get resources, share resources, don't give up
also, don't be afraid to meet on Twitter, but work on other platforms
Tomorrow at 2:00 EST I'll be teacher twitter to teachers join us
For me it's just been participating in chats!
I just joined and love it, and started my own group, T book club
Twitter is like drive by grazing, takes a while to get the hang of it
was far easier to find like minded Ts virtually than face2face
Thank you and for sharing your resources.
my school is small, and Ts very anti tech, Twitter carried me this year
I agree, I'm not very good socially..Twitter is awesome for that
I've been interested in learning more about since I read
That's right, I totally forgot, your kids were so cute
Oh we MUST work for same district :) HOw small is your school? we have under 200 with k-8
Me too but I am not good with new tech.
just join, it's easier than Twitter, listen to the convos at 1st
you win, we have 267 Ss om PK-5
Thanks and for the suggestions! Ill keep trying.
it's actually old tech, more like a walkie talkie
Thank you for a very informational chat session!!
used to use it, now I find it easier to have 2 browser tabs open, 1 chat, 1 notifs
Yep, we are super small.I am the ONLY 6th grade teacher, not much collaboration going on
We have 2 classes per grade level, 1 in Eng, 1 in Span, no common planning time for me
so are you just one school?
Big Q, what strategies do you use to curate the content that was shared tonight? Trying to get back into Pinterest, any others?
ME, yes, tech int spec for 1 school, for now
Just keep signing in to twitter. I spend like 15 min just liking, commenting on things..you'll get there!
I felt like I was interrupting or jumping into convos I wasn't invited to, but I wasn't, jump right in
I CRAVED collaboration-usedTwitter PLN/decided to be a change at my school
I have learned about apps, platforms, built PLN because of these chats
but what do I do w/it, still need to sort, I'll pin useful ones to boards I guess
I love , great rubric idea too
the resources are all the links tweeted tonight - archived for your use
stats 2016-06-20

Many thanks to for a great topic!
