Smaller "chunked" learning. Generally fewer objectives. Learninging taking place overal several days - in chunks.

I think small chunks or very detailed ...not a broad brush stroke -- fine tuned or small in terms of time

Yes!
#microlearning
as small chunks - not only in terms of time, but also amount of content. What about delivery modes?
#iolchat
eRowland_eLearn
Apr 12 @ 12:15 PM EDT
what makes
#microlearning
valuable is that it should be accessible anytime, anyplace. On the job learning, in smaller chunks

It seems like microlearning is best set up using mLearning or some type of electronic delivery format

I've seen several examples via desktop, but it mobile options seem like a natural w/some sort of synching no matter the device

If time is the issue - seems as though this is well suited for electronic devices..of course multiple presentations is always great

I whole-heartedly agree! It is what you do with that five or ten minutes..though I love textbooks or paper they are not mobile

Synching..that is another interesting/valuable factor. Keeping up to date preferably automatically (behind the scenes)

Authoring tools have the ability to "save your spot". Pick up where you left off - its nice when you go in and out of a module.

Like the idea of microlearning bc it allows for reflection -- give me one/two concepts to think about instead of a whole chapter

break those objectives down into smaller isolated chunks that is spread out. Reinforces, and helps with retention.
