A2: Major challenge was implementing ISTE standards. I think we made good headway & it is coming at a good time b/c departments are working on curriculum now. Still wish more would have been done. #isedcoach

Same here...it's been a challenge to hit them all, but since teachers know what they are now and have had a year implimenting them I am really excited for what we can do next year. #isedcoach
There were tons of little ones as well. Saw a load of good things happen. Still really happy about those. Our new mission statement as a school was a big one. #isedcoach

A2: #isedcoach Mine is an all-school role so challenge was getting all parts of the community (admin/staff) to start working towards a unified vision for a big communication shift. Lot of team work ensued at diff. levels. +ve outlook needed to be consistent. Look fwd to next yr!

It is. A long project finally coming to a definitive conclusion. Been a long journey but happy it is moving in this direction. Lot of potential here. Could be transformative for us as a teaching and learning community. #isedcoach

A2 #isedcoach still convincing people not to use Word and start using Google, also helping other people to see there is more than one way to do things and that their way is not always the best

New Design Center being built for next year and shift in Classroom Tech to upgrade the school and learning outcomes. Things I wanted a few years ago are now coming to fruition. #isedcoach

A3 - finishing the year is always a major victory. But really, it's seeing things getting into place for next year before this one actually finishes. Always moving forward. #isedcoach
#isedcoach Nice! Innovation has been big on our agenda too which has prompted the big shift I mentioned. We are hoping to rope in the parental units too for this integrated vision. Excited!

#isedcoach Have done a lot of topical courses from EdX. Agree on the quality being good. We are also considering offering such courses in-house to students to expand their knowledge beyond the classroom. Lets see how that goes!

A5: P2. Also want to continue our Parent trainings, but I want to get a parent task force together for them to talk us what they need/want to learn. #isedcoach

I see twitter as a really valuable tool but find it difficult to ‘sell’ teachers value their time....incredible tool for PD so will def try to introduce teachers to it. Initiatives like #pubpd good for this #isedcoach
A5: I am going to continue sending out my weekly mailchimp emails but im starting a new coaching website to connect everything together. Also incorporating Common Sense Media curriculum as much as I can! #isedcoach

A5: parent workshops is something that I want to do next year. Getting parents onboard and seeing the value of tech in teaching and learning so important. Have seen very positive response to @Seesaw this year. #isedcoach
The problem was have is that our elementary parents are super engaged & the middle school are, but not as much; and the high school parents are nowhere to be found. #isedcoach

A6: #isedcoach has been an amazing resource for me. Not only from the co-moderators life-long friendship but seeing how others work and support educators in coaching positions. I've gathered resources, ideas, and super cool GIF ideas.
#isedcoach Agree. Which is why I think the line of thought we are pursuing is interest based. The motivation needs to be intrinsic to some level without necessarily the tag of "more school work" attached to it. :)
Yes #ISTE standards! Need to have think about how to use them. Have added them to @Seesaw and thinking of how they can be used by students to reflect and teachers to assess student work...#isedcoach
