-
-
-
-
-
-
-
That is a great deal! Wish I had seen it before I "doctored" my pillows to make them easier to clean
-
A3: Hour glass or Time Gem to manipulate time. Artistic License to create their own “job work order”.
-
A3: Also, maybe a Lucky Coin if it lands on heads you gain an extra day if it lands on tails you lose a day.

-
A4: My students love speed playing challenges - of any kind. Great for mini-games & fillers!
-
A4-mostly social-emotional-Ro Sham Bo Rockstar, and if you knew me
-
A4 I think the brain breaks will be for those filler times if I can connect to theme/pts. Grammar is also good for ELA filler time.
-
Aubrey I think we have the same time issues today :) Hi everyone! Can't wait to read the answers to these great questions!
-
A4: My kids really like playing Spot It!, we every day, math skip counting games, quickbuild games, etc.
-
I enjoy gonoodle for brain breaks too
-
A4: This is when I do quick maker challenges like "Build me the most important tool in the fur trade in 10 mins"
-
Yes, I believe that's the focus though I've seen secondary teachers use it and love it :) https://t.co/dwVEZPbdGK
-
-
is mainly for elementary....right?
-
That's a great one. Do you have access to lots of materials quickly or do they draw it out?
-
A2 I can't get enough of kahoot! I didn't like quizlet as much, I will give guizlet live a try
-
So many great ideas here tonight! Q5 coming in 2 minutes!
-
Depends on the group - they have the option. I keep a "craft" bin they can root through (read: junk)
-
I do something similar-make me the digestive tract-with moving parts-10 min. https://t.co/vxVIBimiXD
-
-
A4: This is when I do quick maker challenges like "Build me the most important tool in the fur trade in 10 mins"
-
-
how will you do flex seating?
-
Sounds like my art closet. Whole bottom section is open to Ss and filled with "everything"
-
A5 Most of my bakery missions offer choice. ie: write, create imovie, infographic, cartoon, etc.
-
A5: "How’s it made?" side quest. Create a video on our gamified classroom to intro it to new students. Create triad vocab cards.
-
A5 There are a LOT of options I will convert for options with writing, rdg evidence, analysis, grammar, background resch, etc.
-
Totally - the dollar store has been a boon for me. I pretend to organize it a few times a year but gave up lol
-
Teach on carpet then work areas are tables, chairs, pillows, rocking chairs Each Crew will have a homebase https://t.co/wmmtJSjgWs
-
-
how will you do flex seating?
-
A5 I really liked the song lyrics/rap options too.
-
A4 rocks and great 4 all ages
-
A5: So many side quest ideas in pp. 215-221!
-
A5: for what I have so far, choice comes in "show what you know" of challenge, give possibilities, but open to Ss voice as well
-
A5-vocabulary. taboo, and double take for sauces, mixing methods or stocks
-
A5: Side quest for Vocab. projects with options of how to show learning, research reports with lots of choice presenting info, etc.
-
A5: Students composing/arranging own songs
-
I need to write all these amazing ideas down! Q6 coming in 2 minutes!
-
-
A5 is a genius at choose ur own adventure using
-
A6: Providing CHOICE!! Tech and non-tech ways to show learning, keep all Ss in mind when offering choices, leave open to add more
-
A6: Allow students to use alternative methods to show mastery. My class is project based, so there really aren’t paper tests.
-
Yes! https://t.co/yLhrzFeSIF
-
-
A6: Providing CHOICE!! Tech and non-tech ways to show learning, keep all Ss in mind when offering choices, leave open to add more
-
A6: using more tech/PBL as assessment, not the lead up to, video demo showing you know material, create project on own, etc.
-
A6 This is something I love. Partner tests/wrtg assmts. Grp speeches/prjct. Rdg comp games - so much!
-
Need to do this! Have a general idea, but want to do more with it
-
A6: I'm a fan of letting students orally (via video, usually) demonstrate learning if they prefer.
-
A6- sketch pad or odd one out, group quizzes, hands on skills assessments
-
A6: Also, authentic assessments - can they use it in context, rather than on a paper test?
-
a6 absolutely create menus who cares how they show u that they know it
-
This is more important than test situation, just wish more of those outside edu got it
-
A2 - Can't believe I missed this part! I LOVE doing a Cranium style review - so competitive and fun for them :)
-
This hour goes so fast! Last question coming at ya in 2 minutes!
-
-
A7: Never the same experience twice, surprises, unexpected challenges, social aspect, & lets be honest: Bragging rights!
-
A&: Have social aspect, little repetition, upping the ante/challenge further you get
-
A7- sense of accomplishment, allows them to get an edge on XP
-
A7 1st, there is the challenge of winning which means there is risk of losing. Important in ed. 2nd, creative paths to winning.
-
For some it really is all about the bragging!
-
A7: Plot/story, level of difficulty increases as you go, experience gets harder to gain, and mystery elements.
-
wow sounds like such a fun room to remove desks!
-
A7: collaboration, risk without fear of failure, strategy, collecting, and twists and turns to keep exciting.
-
a7 teamwork collaboration
-
