what I like about @adobeedu projects is that students worry that our 1 to 1 iPad program does not prepare them for Chromebook schools - I love how @AdobeSpark translates across platforms. #createedu

Injecting creativity ... i teach US History ... love injecting the arts in there ... letting the kids play some music ... political cartoons ... using different means to show what they have learned. #createedu

A2 I have access to Macs so @AdobeSpark is not something I have integrated into the class, but the kids make videos. I have used it and I dig the concept ... maybe I should rethink the integration of it #createedu
A2: Very interested in the multimodal components that are part of learning with creating movies, websites, and graphics, especially in terms of literacy. Shared perspectives, opportunities for advocacy and campaigning, and all things storytelling! #createedu
A2: Our job in many respects is to get out of the way. The media ecology for most K-12 students is driven by video and digital interaction. They create, while we provide space, tools, feedback and institutional memory to guide them along. #CreateEdu
A2: Multiple modalities allow for all voices to be heard in the classroom and students seeing various ways expressed that could help their own understanding! #CreateEdu

So we are going to try something new.. We are using @DoInkTweets and other video editor tools (@adobespark video) to create historical conversations using blackline master stick puppets. #CreateEDUhttps://t.co/4MCdb0tP4r Wish us luck!

A3 combine content areas. Combine ELA with science where you have to research and charge what happened with an experiment. Technical writing is so important #CreateEdu
It comes back to individuality. In one school I saw 4th graders walking around to find things that represented "a quarter", a girl use her iPad to take a picture of 4 panes of glass in the door and recorded in @AdobeSpark Video "4 quarters = 1 whole". That's creative! #CreateEDU
Thinking we have to empower our kids is a crazy thought. Have you seen some of the stuff these kids are creating without our "empowerment"? Maybe we just need to do a better job tapping into their creativity. #createedu

A3: student video creation is perfect for math (why should Sal Khan have all the fun). Students can create, reflect, make it personal, teach it back for an audience. Here is an example:

Exactly! That's why whenever possible assignments should have room to play and to forge own path. Ss inevitably get into the "but is it right?" mode at some point, the longer we can postpone that the better. #CreateEDU
