A2: I try to be flexible and remember to keep it positive, as stressful as it is for me the students have their routine disrupted and have to sit a lot for testing, I don't want them to have to deal w/ a crabby teacher too #sdedchat
A2. I go “old school”. I print out a blank calendar and hand write everything that needs to be done. I like having the visual and the ability to cross of days and tasks. #SDedchat
A3 Fortunately or unfortunately (depending how you look at it) it hasn’t been very nice outside so learners haven’t been focused on going outside... otherwise getting learners to #finishstrong can be difficult with 8th graders. #SDedchat
A4: I love @GoNoodle for a quick break, random Simon Says games, chat breaks, and just random events they aren't expecting (basically, anything I can think of out of routine.) #sdedchat
A4: Honestly, kids love it when they get to play games on the computer or do a Kahoot or other review game. My students also like to jam out and sing, so letting them belt out a few songs seems to lighten them up #sdedchat
A5: I try to do very relevant projects, like kicking off the economics hyperdoc for a final project - that way, they all work at own pace on own interests. Also, World history, making board games. US History studying Underground RR / Civil War. https://t.co/q0phQUtpWg#sdedchat
A5: I try to keep the focus in mind, our purpose is learning. I stay positive. I try to give them more breaks as needed. Use growth mindset language #sdedchat
