A4: With a Vanchise, authority can be delegated to others. There can be mini coaching sessions going on all the time. Word of mouth is big. Spreading the word through a larger community is priceless. #fcsvanguard

A4: There are sooo many new initiatives! Would be great to have specialists lead each of the new initiatives (personalized learning, tech integration, standards of mastery framework.. etc)#fcsvanguard

A5: Our Vanguard Lead @drhogans7320 presented the idea to all of us for thoughts and buy-in. She discussed the benefits for students and teachers and asked for commitments from each of us. She walked us through the process helping us see the bigger picture. #FCSVanguard

A5: Our original members were chosen by a Vanguard member who vouched for their choice according to our mission. Now, we are in the process of deciding the best way to recruit new members w/o making it too intense #fcsvanguard

A5: I became a Vanguard member based on desire. I sought it as soon as it was mentioned at my new teachers meeting years ago. I wish everyone could be Vanguard. However, Vanchisees must have an interest in technology and coaching. #fcsvanguard
We send a survey to grade levels and ask for interested people and ask some questions about their experiences, etc. We will definitely share our survey but probably @msmorrisra made it so you already have it ;) #FCSVanguard

A5 Face to face conversations about their idea of technology integration and how the integration supports the learning of all students. Also, they will have to be able to provide artifacts of their technology integration.

based on the size of the school population. However, large numbers do not always translate in better performance if the Vanchise Team does not have a vision. The vision will make all of the difference.
A6 At least one member per grade level/special area would be great. If you are departmentalized, you can have 1 math,1 ELA on that grade level as well. You don't want too many, but the more the merrier! Especially when each member has a variety of knowledge to share! #fcsvanguard
A5. We found strong teachers who were risk takers and “Runners” in our building and recruited them. It is also important to have a team mind set so we all can help each other out in various circumstances. #fcsvanguard
A5. I am excited to see what the current vanchise teams do. Everyone is so crazy busy in committees, PLCs, afterschool clubs, and personal lives. #fcsvanguard
A6: I think the members could also be structured to support the school’s strategic plan, while of course finding members who are motivated and have a unified vision. #fcsvanguard

Q5: personal interview ... vanchise members have to have the interest and some knowledge in technology and believe in our mission. They also must be willing to learn and share. We don’t want to stress anyone out.... we want people to want to do this. #fcsvanguard@FCSVanguard
A7: It's important that all leaders are involved in some way with the Vanguard mission/vision and those of the Vanchise to add credibility. Our Media specialist is also a Vanguard member and that helps us with reaching goals as well. #fcsvanguard

A8: I am hear to learn about that. I would like for prospective members to spread the word about Vanchise mission and to participate in some of our local meetings and county-level events. As, I mentioned before, I wish everyone could be Vanguard. #fcsVanguard
@DolvinES 's Vanchise Team is helping with SMF trainings for the staff as well! That way, when it is delivered to the staff, there is already a team a teachers there to help the presenters and assist teachers as we learn about SMF. #fcsvanguard
That's my fave thing about @DolvinES Vanchise! We all share the load! We all host PD, promote Vanchise initiatives, and work as a TEAM to drive change! Love our group!!! #fcsvanguard

A7: They can help spread the Vanguard initiative to other stakeholders throughout the building. They can assist with coaching and provide PD on various topics centered around Personalized Learning and best practices. #fcsvanguard
