I would say not allowing the negativity of others to bring me down. As an instructional leader, I don’t have the option of ignoring or avoiding. It’s challenging & frustrating when a team is trying to collaborate & you have a toxic attitude infecting the group. #BFC530
Marking tests & projects in a timely manner. I need to put time aside in my week for this purpose. And to spread out when things come in from each class.

#bfc530 The job is about helping teachers use collaborative inquiry and leveraging the digital when it makes sense. I get to work with a lot of new teachers too!
Actually the start of last week before 2 week winter break. I've been spending too much time dealing with a spate of poor behaviour towards female teachers lately. Bringing me down a bit #bfc530

#bfc530 Among big educator challenges is the challenge to assist students in developing critical thinking skills to see the interconnection of learning skills to personal and social circumstances.
#bfc530 Just keeping up with everything. Balancing work life and home life. I strive to be more present at home. Excercise is a priority that I must attend to as I’ve let my routine slip!😩
Last exam today & due Tuesday at noon. Wednesday would be a bit more reasonable right? But main. Office needs time to prepare grad & know who's graduating. #bfc530

Our local women (my daughters team) scored a goal in overtime on Friday night. The ball was going over and then suddenly dropped behind the keeper. #bfc530
